I find these best for scrubbing cast iron pans or BBQ grilles. All other brand disintegrate easily and leave fluff everywhere.

FYI, the cooking area is 5 inches. 6.5 is top of rim diameter. Bought one and thought it's a tad too small but OK if cooking for 1.
