You should also receive $10 credit for capsule purchases and instructions to claim free sample capsules from the website when your machine is delivered.

Whilst the machine has been available for cheaper and isn't worth $199 or anything close to it, since you need capsules for it anyway it's a good deal. The capsules are $8.49 per box which is the same price as Coles & Woolworths so you aren't having to overpay to get the free machine.

Black coffee or cafe au lait pods are the way to go for value (one capsule per beverage only = $0.53/drink). If you get something that requires two capsules such as cappuccino then you are paying $1.06/drink. To be clear each $8.49 box contains 16 capsules.

    I've been using my Dolce Gusto Circolo since winning it here (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/171823) a year ago. Can honestly say I will never go to another brand again. Fantastic blacks, great milky coffees, and also Nesquick for the kids. Fantastic brand that doesn't get enough love.

    Edit- I previously had a Nespresso compatible machine. Much prefer this one.

      I use mine every day before work(espresso intenso and ardenza) and every time we have visitors(latte macchiato,americano,nesquik chocolate,peach, cappuccino etc) for more than 2 years now.The only thing that bothers me is the box price from $6.39(IGA) now is up to $8.49(everywhere)

        I agree, price is not the most competitive. However, I much prefer the coffee it makes to other brands, so I'm happy(ish) to pay the higher cost. It really does make a great coffee.

        Yeah I haven't seen any specials lately either at Woolworths or Coles (2 for $13 etc). There was a $6.49 special at Foodland here (SA) not too long ago but that's about it.

        Recently however I've been buying them from Target or Dolce Gusto eBay with past 20% off etc offers to get them for around the $6.50 a box mark (Dolce Gusto eBay store also has a $5 off when you order 10 boxes deal to combine it with). Certainly harder to get them for less than $8.49 though on a regular basis.

    Still if its decent coffee the pods are far cheaper than Nespresso. Big outlay to find out though.

    I wish they bring back the two for one deal on the pods. Or just a sweet deal on the pods.
