      Agree,

      ebay style, freight is wayyyyyyy to much as a large % of the unit for sale.

      Just buy from a mower dealer, 100% back up, buy from Bummings/HardlyNormal[sic x 2] etc and your on your own when it turns pear shape or want to even know the simplest of things.

    I think that these are the same as the GMC ones (GMC went bust), they are well worth the money with the 24 month warranty.

      I had a GMC one and ripped the motor off while trying to start it, but that hasn't stopped me from buying one of these cheap little beauties!

    I bought one of these. It lasted 3 goes of very light trimming. Replacement also died. I forked out for a husqvarna.

    Maybe I got a couple of dodge ones, but I guess that 24 month warranty would be some peace of mind.

      The irony, Talon is now OWNED by Husqvarna!

      Talon name dies soon anyway, to be replaced by McCulloch, exact same gear just a better known name will now be used.

      So Talon, PoulanPro and Jonsered [all Husqvarna owned] will no longer be used/sold here in Oz.

      Talon is a bit of a hit/miss affair, get a good one, as good as anything else, get a dude and it will do your head in!
