$9.99 MFI Lightning Cable at ALDI Surry Hills NSW

40

Just picked up a BAUHN MFI Lightning Cable 1.5m in BLACK. Comes with 1 year Warranty. Details here http://www.bauhn.com.au/product-listing/tablet-and-smartphon…

All accessories including a 30pin cable are $9.99 as well as a universal car dock adaptor thing and other things I didn't pay much attention to. These were there yesterday but didn't notice the Lightning Cable till just now.

Is it a bargain? Well it's an MFI has a 1 year warranty. Better than taking your chances on the cheap eBay cables.

    • Thanks for the heads up. bought the Move one, been waiting for it to go down, can't go wrong with the braided ones a lot tougher that plastic lined

    • Found some lightning cables that light up (LED lights) at DSE for $5 today. Wouldn't purchase them for adults but great stocking fillers for kids. Link has been removed from the website though.

    • 1.5m too… thanks !!!

      • Are you serious?

        • Yep, $10 for mfi cables and 1.5 metres is a bargain !!!

Shame cant do click n collect in the CBD, $10 postage is overkill.

I've over buying iphone cables from ebay… they're all junk.

        • @jv: Black is available at Bourke Street store if that colour is to your liking

thanks.. i put 1 black and 1 white one in my cart and it won't let me select Bourke St. Maybe I'll need to get 2 black instead. I guess once I try black I won't go back…

          Northland have both !!! :)

      • Be careful of those, I bought two of these before and they are absolute junk. They say they're MFI but they're really not, plenty of reviews online saying there's issues with these. Both of mine worked fine for the first week, then after that the constant messages about how they're not compatible, they say they're charging but the battery keeps going down, loose connectors etc.

If I had just gotten one and it had these issues I'd just put it down to a faulty cable, with 2 of these though, the cables just shit.

    • Dick Smith equivalent cables are $10 http://search.dicksmith.com.au/search#w=move%20lightning%201…

      Aldies

Is the plural of Aldi, Aldii ??

      • +1

Shame on me, I double checked now.

Aldi is already plural, Aldus is singular.

        • Aldus is singular.

          as in "Aldus horribilis ?"

        • @jv: True
