as seen on House of Cards

    • Came for the frank underwood post.

I presume the extra levels (IAP) are not reduced?

PS: very charming, but not a game whatsoever and zero challenge. It's definitely art, not a game.

    • +4

I wouldn't say zero challenge, some of the levels do take somt thinking about

    • It's a game of art.

      • +2

It's a puzzle game with a art style similar to M.C. Escher with a minor story in the background. It's a little simple at some points and kinda short but very pretty and fun to play.

      Surprised at the neggers.

I must be smarter than them.

  • +1

It is beautiful and the soundscape is wonderful. For that price it is well worth it.

This is free along with all extra levels and IAP on Amazon app store under "actually free" (may need a US account to access)

    • I would stay away from the Amazon freebie apps…the Amazon app itself constantly drains my phone battery.

      • +1

Not for me, and no idea why you would suggest staying away, the "actually free" thing that Amazon are doing is ridiculously popular in America and easy to see why.. Not sure what's up with the negativity..

    • It is not free on Amazon app store, it costs $3.99. See here:
      http://www.amazon.com/ustwo-Studio-Ltd-Monument-Valley/dp/B0…

The free version requires you to install Amazon Underground.

      • +1

Amazon Underground has replaced the original Amazon app so that's what Benjamin7711 would have meant.

        • +1

Thanks, I was not aware of that.

But now I am confused why is Amazon selling two versions of Monument Valley, a paid one and a free one with Amazon Underground? Do they have two versions of app stores now?

        • @luka:

          I'd like to know too.

      • It's Free App Of The Day often enough.

  • Thanks… was waiting for this to be discounted.

got it free on iphone the other week…
    suckers!

    • +7

You're an isheep and you called us suckers :)

      • +1

        i dont get it

        • +6

you probably paid $300+ more for the apple device than the equivalent android device and are gloating about the $0.99c saving on the app. Who is the real sucker? ;)

        • Point made haha

          @phil1311:
          this made me laugh.

    • Originally an iPhone game app for some time (2 years?), before becoming available for Android owners.
People make different phone/ phone-OS choices for different reasons, so your response is lacking in knowledge.
Buying a phone over game choice is idiotic.

  • Excellent game buy very short. The Iap levels are very interesting though.

  • Highly recommended. A fantastic game.

Great game. Visually stunning. Great to play. But it ends about there. I finished it in about an hour and it has absolutely no replay value in it. The game is not worth the "normal price", but at this price, it is. And the same for the expansion, it is not worth the money. Once you have played it through, you will want more, but in replaying it, you already know the secrets to the levels, so it isnt as much fun 2nd time around…

  • I played the chinese version of this game (紀念碑谷), it's free if you have the HK Google Play Store.

This is a good game, I think it's the same, just translated from what I've heard. I haven't played the english version by ustwo…

Bit disappointing it's not available for Android TV.

The isometric and "arty" graphics reminds me of Back to Bed:

    Pretty game, too short though.

  • Couple weeks ago the game was free on iOS. Great game and worth every penny of in-app purchase.

  • One of the best games on iOS, it oozes quality.

  • One of my favourite games ever. Yes it is a bit simple, but that makes it accessible.

Perhaps it's too short, but it's just so damn lovely that it's difficult not to just play it through in one sitting.

The overall quality shows how much thought and effort must have gone into making it. So, poor value as a game, but I reckon it's great value nevertheless.

  • bought it straight away much thanks OP
