  • I'm actually playing Siege at this very moment. I bought the PC Steelbook Edition for $60 from Mighty Ape. This is probably the best value for money game I have played in recent history. Content wise, it's not worth it. Gameplay wise, it's worth it. The community is great, the communication makes it better. The developers did a great job. I've played 55 hours of the game in less than 2 weeks. That equals $0.91 per hour played. Yes, it's worth it. Just don't go in expecting CoD, Battlefield, etc.

    • That version doesn't include the season pass does it?

      • +1

Definitely not for that price :(

        • I appreciate your honesty :)

      • Don't really need the season pass as all dlc will be free. Season pass will give early access to dlc.

  • From Boxing Day (Rainbow Six)

  • Do they start these sales on Boxing Day or is it heard of the day before them selling before sale starts as would be really unfair.
I'm after something in this catalogue/sale and I'm sure they just might not last long.
If they sell out of stuff do they do rain checks on the items?
And I would need to check but when does the 10% off gift cards end as could possibly get item cheaper.
But I am worried getting such gift cards and not getting item I'm after.
Or can I buy the gift card first if offer is on there and then?

Isn't it the physical BigW gift card 10% in store still on sale until 24 Dec?

      • Oh…didn't know that. Thx for the pointer.

  • I'm interested in R6 but it seems pretty content-light for the prices being asked. Even at $49 I'm iffy on it.

    • buy it on pc if anything. Got it on xbox one and encountering crashes and server disconnects repeatedly.
Happening to ppl I play regularly with aswell.

      • My Master Race Machine is 5 1/2 years old now. Need to put together a new build sometime soon if I want to play the current hotness, but the $2-3k required makes it a low priority and makes the PS4 an easier choice.

        • true that. pc component prices are utterly pathetic in AUS atm -_-
for once consoles seem to be worth it O_o

@Vlaka: Yep, that's been a key factor into my slow transition to the Dark Side.

Price match it at EB and return it if its not your cup of tea ;)

I was skeptical as well, but its the gameplay that keeps things varied.

10 maps doesn't initially sound like much, but they are well designed and the section that needs to be attacked/defended always changes (out of a possible 4-5) which leads to many permutations. 20 operators is enough for now too, and all future content will be free (season pass just gives early access).

If anything I would like to see a few extra game modes but otherwise its excellent.

    • EB Price match trial might be the solution. Good point.

  • cheaper at Target sale

    • Anyone got a link to the Target Catalogue? We don't get them here and the online only go up to Christmas Eve.
