      I remember Guardians of the Galaxy being out for a decent amount of time in IMAX (at least 2 months) because it was pretty popular. Albeit, as time went on, the times got less and less convenient (maybe a few times a week at noon). Hopefully Star Wars will stick around in IMAX, especially because no other blockbusters seem to be coming out in January.

    was wondering if you buy multiple do they have to be used in the one session? or can you use the same Groupon multiple times say if you purchased 4 tickets. Thanks

      I bought 2 a couple of weeks ago and each voucher had a separate code. I used mine for the same session but I would guess you wouldn't have a problem using then at different sessions.

    The Fine Print
    • Valid for single ticket only - adult, child, concession, senior or student
    • Valid for all films, for all publicly advertised sessions with no exclusion periods
    • The onus is on the holder to use the voucher before the specified expiry date
    • This voucher is valid for sessions commencing up to 11:59pm on the date of expiry indicated on the voucher
    • This voucher cannot be used for sessions commencing after the expiry date
    • This voucher has been purchased with the understanding that it will not be extended, replaced or refunded
    • Once the voucher is redeemed, tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged (unless specified by law)
    • This voucher cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash

    How to Redeem

    • Present printed voucher at box office (subject to availability)

    • Redeem online (from 21 Jan 2016):
    • Book online: http://www.imax.com.au/sessions/
    (1). Click 'Buy Tickets' next to your desired session
    (2). No need to select any ticket type or quantity – just enter the 16-digit number underneath the barcode on your Groupon voucher in the ‘REDEEM A VOUCHER’ field
    (3). Click 'Add to Order'
    (4). Repeat the process to book for another Groupon voucher, or add any other full-fare tickets as desired and click 'Next

      Not much to see. Even if this was valid for batman v superman, I'd be seeing it blacktown hoyts cinema 5.

      Imax film is the best format available, although their digital presentations are 25m wide with 2K twin projectors. Until they fit 4k laser, you'd get a better experience at blacktown hoyts xtremescreen, which is 28m wide, and is 4k. Also cheaper to go to hoyts vs imax
