  • After living in the UK for the past 2 years this is an excellent sim for travelling.

You can use the credit in any of the feel like home countries at no extra cost… there is about 20 (e.g. Spain, France, Italy etc.). This includes buying an add-on which gives you unlimited data for a month and allows you to use this in any of the countries.

The only issue is that you need a UK credit card to recharge or do this in a UK 3 store before travelling around Europe.

  • I'm going to UK in April. Can I buy this now and use it then? Am I not better off just getting a pay as you go sim over there?

    • @bondilion: you can buy it now and activate it later! Just have to take care about the expiry date on the simcard. You could also buy it there but if you buy it here you can activate the simcard here already and could have internet straight after you got out of the plane and you could give your family and friends your number before you arrive there.

  • Do you have a SIM card that covers UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain and France? I believe the Three SIM only allows me to roam for free in UK, Spain and France.

    • @Iluvtofo:Yes we have a simcard like that:http://icells.net.au/product/lefrenchmobile/28

  • Not sure how good a deal this really is.

A UK sim card from three is free http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/Pay_As_You_Go
Exchange rate is currently one uk pound = 2.05 Aus dollar so the total value direct from three would be AU$20.05 (plus postage)

Rep - can you clarify how exactly this deal is a bargain??

    • I'm with UNM on this. As the 28 degrees card is well known on this site.. This deal is actually less of a deal that going and buying the sim at the airport… then whatapping friends and family the number when you get there.. I'm leaving for England early January and was hoping for a better deal than this…

  • If you 're going to the UK you'll need all the financial help you can get, with the AUD at an effective 45p it's poisonously expensive for Oz visitors…. :-( .. !! Unless you're visiting relos or such, skip the UK altogether and do Europe, at an effective .65 euros the AUD is doing pretty well there .. :-) .. !!
