  x8000c and x8300c are not as good as x8500c in terms of image quality.
  i would recommend x8500(4k) or 1080p TV (w800c).

    I know, but it's cheaper by 1000$+ I'd love to have the 55x8500 (with 3D) but it's out of my budget :(

  The website says out of stock though some stores have it, you need to ring them up, the tv dept in is DJ is something to do with dick smith.
  If you know someone with the entertainment book you can get DJ gift cards for %10 discount saving another $129.

  49" x8300c is 100z, not backlit screen.
  49" x8000c is 50Hz, backlit screen.
