  • Will get decent sound from this ?

  • read mixed reviews but for the price I think it is worth a shot.

Do not I repeat do not buy this soundbar if you hate audio going out of sync. On my first impressions/review I really enjoyed this soundbar as it is decent sound for the price. But good god after using it for months it has a fatal flaw that cannot be fixed by the syncing buttons, even after adjusting it will lose sync again and start to lag behind. Also bluetooth is bugged it will cut out randomly every few times you use it.

I can second that . You are absolutely right.
Good find in terms of price OP, but poor product

    • Thanks for the feedback. Saw this currently on sale at Harvey Norman for $279. ($170 after $100 cashback). Just wasn't sure how good it was. Will look at other soundbars now. As there are much better choices available.

      I'll third that comment!!

I picked this soundbar up during a HN/cashback promotion and while it was 'good value', this is certainly a case of paying for what you get. I haven't had much success with the bluetooth connection, and when I did it almost immediately dropped out.

Sync issues happen quite frequently as well. I've connected over HDMI & optical, and sometimes the audio will just lose its sync… drives you crazy because you can't tell if it is actually happening or if your mind is playing tricks on you O_O

Another pet peeve is that the unit also goes into standby mode quite quickly, so if I boot up my media center to watch something I'll have to wait those extra few moments for the soundbar to boot up. Minor issue here, but it is still an annoyance I would rather not have.

It isn't all bad though… I've gotten some use out of it, but I mostly just use my TV audio rather than bother with the soundbar….

bottom line, Invest in something better and save yourselves the pain!

It's seriously a terrible product that should have never passed testing with such a huge drawback.

    • anyone else who reads this. i 4th this as a piece of shit. i don't get the sync issues as my hdmi arc works but my sub cuts out constantly and if you watch an action movie the explosions and action is about 10times louder than the speaking so you have to constantly adjust the volume during viewing and then shit yourself if there are surprise bangs

so (profanity) this soundbar and (profanity) philips for not giving a shit.

And this in the T &Cs

"Internet sales via third part internet sales sites and auction sites are excluded from this promotion"

Means you can ONLY purchase this from BL online and NOT their EBay store to be able to claim $100..
