      Absolutely fantastic drop.

$64 for a carton of home brew?

      • +3

If you think this is homebrew, you have absolutely NO clue about beer and what constitutes the title "homebrew"

This is a quality Australian made craft beer brewed under contract in a commercial brewery.

Do some research before you go making outlandish false comments.

It doesn't seem to say where you can pick it up? Also whats 'Melbourne city" the cbd only? Or doea it include inner suburbs?

If you can pick it up easily its a great price.

A few guys from the previous orders wanted to pick up their beer. Pickup is in Sunshine.

      • Melbourne city includes inner suburbs

  • Love this beer, the problem is the delivery took 2 weeks last time I ordered. South East suburb.

      Hi Kooratz,

We had a problem with our delivery services which was done mostly through the Post Office business services which ended up being an issues as everything took days to process. We have changed plans and have a delivery team ready to drive out on Monday, starting deliveries.

It will most certainly be much quicker this time.

Good to hear, will order couple for this summer holidays, cheers mate.

        FYI, yours better than hoegardeen

  • Excellent beer. Polished off some over the past week.

    Hell dog.

  • Given it claims a Belgian style, can anyone tell me how this would compare to St. Bernardus, Leffe or any of the other famous Belgian Abbey Ale/Monk-brewed beers? (Specifically the 8-10% Alcohol varieties, although St. Bernardus and Leffe do make wheat beer with lower alcohol content). For a start these seem a lot milder (4.6% from what I can tell) and I'm guessing probably don't have that really intense hyper-fermented, hops/sedimenty-type taste.

    • Nothing like leffe, it's more like hoegardeen, Belgian wheat beer only better

      Amar89,

The Himmel Wit is the Belgian equivalent of a German Hefeweizen but without the clove, banana and bubblegum notes. It is spiced with coriander and orange peel to make it a refreshing summer ale.
Made from 50% Pilsner, 50% wheat.
      Bitterness around 15 points

Abbey Ales are around 4-12% in alcoholic content and have a wide variety. They can also contain low to high amounts of hop additions and bitterness depending on alcohol content to ensure balance.
Made mostly from Pilsner or Pale malt.
      Bitterness around 20-45 points

  • Mine arrived today after ordering on.the first of Jan, 2 business days after order placement. Yet to taste though.
