DJI is doing a sale on DJI Phantom 3 Drone's.

They have also reduced the prices of the Professional and Advanced models http://store.dji.com/compare-phantom-3

This is the lowest I have seen these advertised. I got one just before xmas with the ebay deal and cashback rewards for ~$940 and they are a really amazing piece of kit.

  I've flow my Phantom 2 Vision+ with and without Prop guards, and I have noticed no noticeable difference. Except on a fast descent it is more stable with guards. Without prop guards I found it oscillated left and right a bit on decent.

  I purchased this on Thursday with this deal (with prop guards) and it arrived this morning (4 days) from China. Currently charging the battery. will have my first flight in about 20 mins.

  Can anyone confirm that the receipt received from DJI contains ABN, business name, GST component etc in order to successfully claim back the GST when flying overseas?
  Or has anyone managed to claim back their GST on an online purchase from DJI?

    You receipt actually comes from DJI China, when the goods are shipped from China. There is no GST to claim back.

      I did buy the phantom 3 Standard for $759. Hopefully will get about $15 back from cashrewards. Delivered from Hong Kong from memory by DHL in 5 days. I had a similar experience from Valuebasket 12 months earlier with a cheerson cx20. The only issue then was they sent a Bigshark version instead of an open source. The Bigshark version flys generally well and I doubt I would use flight planning software anyway.
