  • Just tried this with the new Apple TV. 32GB model down to $244.

It only applies $25 discount once, not once per $125 unfortunately.

  • Not as good as the last time this was offered for any purchase at any price.. But its still not bad for things already on special..

    any rare lego?

  • Dammit just placed an order over $125 two days ago. Any ideas to claw it back? :(

    • Reorder and return with original receipt.

      • +1

Surely they can just give you $25 back if you call their online customer service number. Saves the poor checkout person a headache in returning and you having to fill in your details etc.

        • Target are large enough not to care, honestly. Much less hassle to stick by the book.

I have had similar, i literally picked it up at the counter and said "Look i can return this then rebuy it, or you can give me the discount". They gave me the discount in cash too which was good

  • How do you do the cash back via an android app?

    *edit
Nvm I thought it was exclusive to the apps.

  • Garmin Vivofit 2 for $114 after code.

It was $99 about 2 days back from Target.

Anyway, it's $96 at Harvey Norman.

Thanks for that. I am hoping these drop to <$80 soon. I've been after one for my Dad for a while now. Research shows the garmins are the ones to get compared to the fitbits.

        • Can you show some evidence/proof of that?

Had the vivosmart which I lost :(

Got given a fitbit charge HR which I like but still prefer the garmin….mainly cos I use garmin biking gps and also I liked the find iphone function. Was also waterproof and way more comfy.

Kind of tempted to ditch the fitbit and get another garmin.

        • +1

I like everything about the fitbit except for the battery life and their reliability. I have owned a Charge and Flex and both have failed on me. Their app is fantastic and the devices are comfortable to wear. I've heard good things about their customer service and hope to get these replaced even though they are out of warranty.

In the end, I went for the Garmin Vivofit 2, all I need is a step counter, a watch and long battery life (also it's water proof) and this ticks the boxes inspite of the high price. Don't need the HR, phone calls smses and what not.

Remember the 35% Telstra deal as well:

          @slipperypete:

Mainly it was the fact that the fitbit has reliability and quality control issues and is mainly only marketed really well.

The first link is for the new Vivosmart HR (inbuilt) that goes for about $150-$180 new on Ebay.

Also @aurotaro's comment as well: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/229243#comment-3361553

        • @fryandlaurie:

Thanks a lot for those links..interesting reading.

          Much appreciated

        • @aurotaro:

          Thanks for the info

I gave this link to a guy at work who then bought the vivosmart. He's been having a bugger of a time keeping it connected to the iphone. Been back to Telstra store several times. Never had a problem with mine though.

I like the looks of this over the other vivo products but you can't change the notifications so is always lighting up and buzzing for texts, calls…even bloody FB. I know they can be turned off but overall is a great idea…does everything I would want from a smart watch for heaps less :)

Still for someone like me who loses his phone 5 times a day, the find phone thing is the best!!!

My sister works for Target and says that she gets plenty of Fitbit returns for faults, in her circle of friends too, but not many returns for Garmin. In fact she didn't even realise that Target sold Garmin until she checked because she has never had a return for a Garmin before. Battery life is a whole year too. I use a Pebble Smartwatch, the battery is long life and the charging connector is magnetic, but honestly it is a pain to constantly take on and off. Also the Garmin measures sleep whereas with a Fitbit I believe that they measure sleep too but how practical is it to measure you sleep if you have to take it off for a charge anyway.

        • Do these also have a watch function?

        • @Regie69: yes, most definitely. They are also backlit

  • can you fuel up vehicle with coles gift card?

    • Apparently not valid with coles express in the T's & C's. But hey, no harm in trying right?

      • thanks, so I'll opt out..

  • damn last time my order from Target was free because 2 dollar pair of socks was out of stock so they refunded the whole order and shipped the rest lol

commence the downvotes from angry people who missed out

    • $0.93 cashback.. winner!
  • pity the sale has ended :(

    • Voucher still works, they've just excluded Gift Cards.

  • I was looking at the GoPro Session on the Target website last night, was listed at $279. But it's now gone up to $299!

Coincidence? Or have they taken a leaf out of Dick's book?

    Anyone else experienced the same?

As an aside - if anyone knows of a good deal on the GoPro Session, please let me know!

    • +1

If you look it up on Price Hipster, you can see it was initially listed on the Target website for $299 then dropped to $279 between 24 Dec and 6 Jan which coincides with the Target Big Sale which ended last night.

      • Thanks for the info. Looks like my cynicism was unfounded.

My hunt for a good price on the GoPro Session continues…

  • e gift cards are excluded now :-(

    Not working..

    • Any particular item or category it's not working on?
I have it still working except for on Gift Cards.

  • Thanks OP, got the kids a samsung tablet each for when we go on holiday. from 159 down to 134 each with the code (2 separate orders)

2x dualshock 4 controllers $131, is this the best deal right now for these?

  • Picked some girls dresses and shoes, used the mobile app, but code can't be applied.

    • Were they full priced items?

  • Very tempting. But Target has already spoiled me with $75 for $200 few weeks ago.

    Not complaining, just saying. :)

  • it works with ipads

  • Why dont they list the new 3ds xl anymore? just the smaller new 3ds? Grr……..

    • The New 3DS XL is back instock but it's $223 with the coupon.

  • Why doesn't this have all target products online. I saw some stuff in store that I want to buy online :(
