    Watch out when buying it.

    By default, they add "extended download" option, which costs ~$5. You may not want this option.

    Don't bother getting this. It's crap. Like most others (eg. Symantec etc.) it will slow you computer down, to a crawl.

    Have you used this software before Bargain4U?

    The CA Security Centre 2007 seems to run fine for me. (Though it is not the actual product I was offered a deal on)

      Yes, I have. I got it from the NetBank offer (Free CA Internet Security Suite Plus). Within a couple of minutes of installing it I uninstalled it. There is still lots of stuff that its left behind - I can't seen to get rid of it all.

    At work we also standardise on CA eTrust Anti-Virus software which I don't find much degradation of performance.

    Id agree with Bargain4u, it really slowed down my pc, so i uninstalled and went back to NOD

    I only use the anti-virus software, myself. I see the Interet Security Suite Plus includes other programs including:

    • Anti-Spyware
    • Personal Firewall
    • Anti-Spam
    • Anti-Phishing
    • Parental Controls
    • Data Backup and Transfer

    I wonder if the difference in results is caused by a difference in the number of their programs that are running for different people …
