So this 'deal' can be had for a whole $2 cheaper with a KFC receipt. That's a deal.
Also 3 pieces of Original is $5.95 thats usually the one I eat with the free chips and drink =)

Yes, you'll require a KFC docket and complete the feedback form.
There is usually a pile of discarded dockets at the counter so for us bargain hunters we just need to grab one and do the online survey to get the code. Survey takes like 1 minute max. Heck I think you could write a fake 5 digit number on the receipt as they don't seem to look at it too hard.

At every KFC that I've been to, they type the code into their system and check its validity.
Oh indeed just look at the menu boards. 3 pieces of chicken is $5.95. Its the best value item on the menu if you want to get full for cheap and don't care about chips and the drink.
If you use the receipt trick then its free chips and drink also =) I pretty much always just eat this meal as nothing else comes close to that price and paying $10+ for fast food just feels wrong.
Whats weird is on the KFC website 5 pieces is $12.95…who would pay that much lol

This isnt a great deal IMO. Wicked wings is merely a snack. And for $8?
You may as well get the zinger box which includes 3 wings for $10,45 and you get the burger chips potato gravy drink for $2.50 more.
I guess meal size requirements is considered to be subjective. This meal is more than enough for me. I am also not a fan of their potato and gravy. But, I see your point.
My usual order at KFC (which is you know, maybe twice a year) is the Zinger box but swap potato and gravy for coleslaw. Makes me feel more healthy but probably is loaded with sugar - doesn't even taste that great, not sure why I do that to myself now that I think about it…
