  • I believe that it allow 3 per customer.

This product is limited to 3 per customer

    • The system only let me put 2 in my basket but now trying again it will only allow me to add 1 at each store. Don't need any more but just wanted to test the limit for everyone. Best to add one to your basket first and see how many you can get :)

      • I was able to add two, but then an error showed up 'one or more product not available' and can only have 1 in cart. The available pickup locations seems to be cycling around northside Brissy stores, nothing coming up in the south with different postcodes entered.

        Nice deal btw.

    Very limited stock in Brisbane

  • No pickup available near me.
    Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
    Thanks but for sharing

    Super deal!

  • I was about to post Telstra 2GB Prepaid USB WiFi 3G

    http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/telstra-2gb-prepaid-usb--wifi-…

But as stock is quite limited and also 3 units max, might just want to add this to the OP also.

    • Added! good find :)

You get the deals from price hipster right? You should start referencing the site in future deals.

      • I have attributed my previous deals to PH. If I had posted this deal myself I would have.

    • "The product "80008" cannot be ordered."

    • No longer works

  • +1

These look like the older style sim packs that have been reported as expired at Kmart / DSE in there recent sales

    • So TGG is selling expired kits?

    • Doesn't matter since its store pickup not delivery

      • But you still have to pay online… What happens if the kits are expired? It'll be a battle between you and TGG.

        • +3

If they are expired hopefully people get lucky and get the non expired multi fit sims out of it. Worth the risk given TGG is not too far from me

        • +1

          @lkp:

          good luck with that

        • @easternculture:
lol as if TGG are dumb enough to sell expired kits with all the bad PR that will follow.

        • +2

          @payton:

Maybe they are not aware of the expiry as they show as inventory on the system. They don't store expiry dates on the system. And as these have been EOL since early last year, TGG are clearing them out.

During the dicksmith sale. i found some $30 Sim starter packs for $3. On inspection they were expired and i only discovered this because i checked expiry date before i paid for it.

The older SIM packs supposedly expire end of December 2015. Some are recycled by telstra few month before expiry date if they haven't been activated too.

        • What happens if the kits are expired? It'll be a battle between you and TGG.

Goods sold must be fit for purpose, if its already expired TGG will be entirely in the wrong and there won't be a battle.

        • @easternculture:

The older SIM packs supposedly expire end of December 2015

Previously I bought two Nanos, both from the same store. The expiry dates among them differ so I don't think its as simple as saying that all older kits expire on Dec 2015.

        • @payton:

Are they the old version. What was the expiry date on them ?

        • @easternculture:
I don't know which is old version, which is new but expiry on mine is March 2016

        • just don't waste your time if it is expired, especially with the old starter kit (less than 13digit SIM card number). These can't be activated and you will have to get refund from where you bought them.

        • @payton:

          What color is the pack

        • @easternculture:
          Light green

        • +1

@lkp: I don't think you would get a multi fit SIM, just a refund.

    • I would wager that all the SIMs mentioned in this thread are expired. Only the 3G dongle may be useful but still not worth it.

Get sucked in and you will end up being the product as a shopper hooked into their store.

      • These dongles comes with expired SIM pack and won't be activated. I have 2 of these.

        • Are you aware of what other sims are expired?

        • @chyawala:

          The expired SIMs are expired.

  • Any idea on the expiry date for the sim starter packs?

    • Every pack is different

    • +2

My guess is Jan or Feb 2016. I recently activated a pack that looked exactly the same. The expiry was mid Jan 2016. At this price and packet design it would be a short dated clearance item.

  • Seemed to have got my order through at Blacktown GG, couldn't checkout via Paypal though

  • +1

These seem to have more stock for iPad micro sim

    • Data only?

      • Should all be the same. That ones assuming you open it as a datapass.

I'm fairly sure you can open it as regular prepaid sim.

        • Found an old deal where this is discussed in the comments.

Seems like too much effort and there is no guarantee they will transfer the credit.

        • The iPad SIM superApple linked to can be activated on the Data Pass offer. You'll receive 3GB and no recharge credit. I recently activated 6 of these kits. There was no option to activate on Freedom Plus.

The SIM the OP linked to should be able to activate on Freeedom Plus. I recently activated a lot that looked exactly the same. It had a mid Jan 2016 expiry.

        • @sween64:

MBB Data Pass plans provide the same amount of funny money credit. Are you sure credit = $0 when dialling #100#?

        • +1

          @andylch:

Recharging $30 on Data Pass will net you $30 recharge credit and 3GB.

However, the iPad SIM comes with 3GB only and no recharge credit. It's how they were marketed when they were first on offer.

        • @andylch:
No credit on these SIMs, only data.
          We've used them recently.

  • -1

What are the inclusions in this $30 plan?

    • -3

      $30.

      • in $10 or $5 notes ?

        • -1

          In $1 coins.

    • -2

      A choice of

      • An inflatable hot girl friend
      • jv in a box
      • I'll take jv thanks.

        Going cheap at $30 though

      • SO HOT!

  • Cant find any stock available in melbourne

    • +1

It's all gone… There was plenty of stock 20 minutes ago

  • Do you guys think OW or kmart might match price? Can't find in Brisbane :(

    • +3

No stock = no price match

    • +2

      No.

      Competitor clearance products

      are excluded at Officeworks

Although the website doesn't state clearance you might have to be nice to the manager.

    • +1

Too Late, they've already been taken down from the website

  • Nowra is not in the ACT. Please update the post. About 2.5 half hours drive.

  • +1

Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred with the page you're looking for.

    Out of stock?

  • able to snatched 3 of them ! nice..

  • Although stock may show on system, as its old stock (sitting around for about 2 years), stock may not exist for orders in stores.

Check expiry before accepting. Preferably first ring to confirm expiry date.

  • +1

Just went in store to pick mine up; they had expired on 6 Jan 2016.
Luckily i checked before i left and they swapped them for the $30 pink/purple multi fit starter kits.

So yea expect them to be expired.

    • Thanks for the heads up! Lucky they swapped them, did you ask for the other pack?

      • Nup, she just went and grabbed them for me. Didn't mind at all.

        • Awesome news! :)

        • Which Store??

My Store just refunded instead of swapping for PINK

        • @ccwwayne:
          TGG Mornington, Vic

  • Trying to do either a pickup or delivery estimate on the website always results in an error. Assuming they probably don't actually have any?

  • I just went to the Belmont WA store, mine to were dated Jan 06, told the guy I've driven from Northam (100km away) They refunded the $4 and gave me a $30 gift voucher.

  • -2

This is the part where i say "i told you so"

  • Bummer, got a call from maribynong and confirmed my ordered sims had expiry of July 2015. No, didn't get the gift card as goodwill
