They must have sent me about 7 20% off emails over December.

They were doing the old cashrewards don't miss out trick and as soon as one ended they would email another.

I didn't post because I assumed everyone was getting them.

My bad, just logged into my spam email which i havent touched for months

    • Why wouldn't you post anyway? Some of us aren't subscribed to them so we wouldn't know when there's a deal going on. As far as this deal goes, the 20% off almost compensates for the horrible exchange rate.

5% topcashback + $10 referral USD credit also

Not really a deal after they jacked up their shipping plus the exchange rate increases the price

I think shipping is close to $40-$45 for a pair of shoes

Hasn't it always been around $40 for shipping? My last 3 or 4 orders of the last 18 months it's been around that.

    • yup US$39.99 foe shoe really expensive

      • remains at $40 for 2 pairs of shoes though, have to buy more than a single pair and it becomes still far cheaper than buying here

        • Yeah I often buy 3 or 4 pairs at the same time. My wife can't find shoes easily here (sz 5) so has to order from OS.

@hummel: im in the same boat, but at the other end. size 15. No where in australia has my size in any of the shoes I want.

        • IM getting US $60 for 2 pairs.

    • jacked up shipping rate? care to elaborate? its been $40 to australia at least for the past 3+ years

Eastbay suck now… They will no longer ship air maxes which they used too… With the exchange rate and shipping costs they are no longer worth it at all.

Eastbay doesn't suck. They have a fantastic range of clothes / shoes much cheaper than anywhere else.

Shipping restrictions are put in place by manufactures (ie Nike) for certain models, not the retailer.

Shipping and the exchange rate aren't Eastbay's fault either, they're a US business, not Australian.

RIP eastbay/exchange rate for everyone in Australia.

  • Yep, exchange rate sucks, Eastbay not the giggle it used to be.

This was decent when $1AUD = $1.05USD. I just feel like I'm never getting a good deal anymore with the current rate. I was spoilt!

  • Maybe i'm living in yester years now, but i don't reckon the 20% is going to heal the wounds of once USD=AUD days.
