Lexar High-Performance microSDXC 633x 64GB UHS-I Flash Memory Card LSDMI64GBBNL633R
USD $26.95 + $5.05 Shipping.

I bought 2, and shipping cost $5.11.

Apparently it's okay for go pro - which seems pretty rare! :)

Also, apparently this card used to be U3 but now is U1, but this is the original U3!!??

I'll refer to same bargain back a year or 2 ago (since I don't really know what I'm doing) :) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/147387

edit: I should mention it comes with USB 3.0 card reader, and that I'm totally confused whether it's U1 or U3… here is amazon description: "Lexar High-Performance MicroSDXC 633x 64GB UHS-I U1 w/USB 3.0 Reader Flash Memory Card (old U3 version) LSDMI64GBBNL633R"

  • shipping kills this deal

  • How are these compare to the Sandisk ultra does anyone know?

    • Probably ALOT better…

It has a U3 speed rating… Meaning 30MBs minimum guaranteed write speed. This would be in the same speed class as the Sandisk "Extreme" Micro SD's which are alot more expensive & alot faster compared to the Ultra SD's they sell. But for 46 bucks each, these should be alot better.

      • I thought we were up to 80mb/s as being fast these days? Getting confused.

        • reading speed

          30mb is writing speed

        • That's the read speed which is higher and therefore the popular one to list by all manufacturers but overkillxx is talking about the write speed (generally less than half the read speed) which really matters for things like recording high resolution video and such without compromising quality.

        • The Sandisk U3's are: Extreme Pro 95/90; Extreme Plus 80/60; Extreme 90/60 read/write.

          I've ignored the U1 Ultra's.

I hope somebody can clarify this nonsense of this one being reclassified from U3 to U1??
It seems considerably cheaper - hope it's not for good reason :)

        • @SlickMick:

Reading the reviews they are good for about 50MB/s write which is great for the money.
I recently opted for the PNY turbo though which seems to clock in a 60MB/s writes for only $25US PP

  • what do you guys think about this one: 95Mb read 90 mb write.

    • It's a great card, probably top 3 64gb micro sdxc. I use one in my Sony Action Cam 4k and no lag or problems at all.

For cheaper though, maybe try the Samsung Pro 64gb micro sdxc - under $70 AUD local stock.

I love everything about it… except the price

For the gopro users, this is actually listed on their sd recommendation page. Apparently Lexar is a really good brand.

  • Isn't anyone bothered by the numerous people complaining they got a fake, faulty item(s), or a U1 instead of a U3 ???

    • +1

It said in description their U1 and U3 performance are exactly the same.
Faulty items maybe, but fake? It is sold by Lexar, not a third party

  • How long is it gonan take for Amazon to ship to Melbourne?

    • +1

don't know, but I bought a book on Amazon on 6th and it arrived today (Brisbane)
