I see you've stepped up and become a Master of the puns!

Still waiting for egift card email delivery, it takes up to 12 hours!

  • Thanks… under $20 for those with 10% off wish cards from Christmas :)

  • Great unit. Thanks

Cheers all :) and whoever reported it, not a dupe as it's significantly cheaper :)

I paid 21.49 (including cashrewards cashback) in the last post. I got 5% discount for signing up, since I missed out on the original 10% off :(

  • does it fold up?

  • Pretty good deal, except rated loading 100kg only.

    • +4

Eat a bit less icecream and the weight rating won't matter. :)

  • Dont forget 2% rebate through cashrewards if you are really TA

  • Thanks picked one up

Masters gift cards sound like as good an investment as Dick Smith gift cards

    • +4

they are everyday rewards gift cards, which can be used at woolworths group stores (incl. dan murphy's, big w, caltex, woolworths). I pretty much use them exclusively for the aforementioned stores.

      • +1

Yes, the 5% off one is Woolies group
The 7.5% off is Masters only

      • pretty much ?

  • How long does it take for the gift card to come through?

  • I forgot to add the voucher code.. End up paying $24.. What to do now….?

    • Cancel order and re order?

    • Cry.

  • "Can hold up to 100kg" I just found out my old one that I used for 3 years could only hold 90kg but I was 110 back then… so this should be fine for a bit more than 100

  • Very good deal. Just in time to replace my rusting steel one.

  • Great! I've been meaning to purchase a step ladder; even more perfect at this price!

  • Awesome. Got one. Couldn't be bothered with the gift card thing but the 10% was good enough for me. Just in time as my other $10 officeworks ladder has been demoted to outside only :)

  • +1

Sorry for being dumb but how do I use the gift card?
I purchased the egiftcard and just got an invoice PDF with some numbers on it but nothing that looks like a card number. Plus the Masters site asks for a card number and pin when I check 'wish gift cards' as the payment type?

    Thanks

Not to worry, I got another email with the proper details in it. :)

  • Got one as well, to replace an ancient and untrustworthy ladder that my girlfriend keeps insisting is okay for use. This replacement looks far better!

  • For those that have the ladder - how have you found it so far, and how does it compare to other offerings in the $70-$90 range? Just don't want it to be an el cheapo that snaps after 3 weeks.

    • Im no ladder expert, but it looks thinner metal than my other ($80) ladder. I would call it a budget ladder, But it is useful for reaching high cupboards or picking fruit from my trees outside. Light and easy to carry. It has a sticker on it saying "not for commercial use" and it is rated for up to 100kg… But hey its the best $20 ladder I have owned :P I don't see it breaking, However I recommend you pop into the store and have a look ;)

  • Great thanks!!, only 1 hour to send the voucher.

  • Got one of these the other week for the same price. Great little step ladder for jobs around the house.

  • when does this offer end anyone?

    • 10% off "HARDWARE" Coupon Code expires on Sunday 17th January 2016.

      • i mean the special price for the ladder being $24 instead of $79?

        • +3

From what I can tell, $24.00 is now the standard price for this item.

I say this because it has been this price for a few months now and if you look at the actual webpage it shows the price as a standard price and it is not labelled as a special "Sale" price.

  • Thank you

  • Thank you - bought one

  • The cashrewards site messes up the woolworths website when I go to buy a masters $100 egift card.

    Im on chrome on mobile.

Link to buy giftcard flashes on screen for a second- then slides across to the left of screen and disappears…so you cant click anything.
    Super frustrating.

I just want to write a quick review here regarding this ladder.

I have used it for at least 20 hours fixing my fence. Deployed it probably 50 times. It's very easy to fold and unfold. It looks pretty flimsy at first but it's surprisingly good for such a light construction.

I am 60kg I can feel the highest step flex a little when I stand on it, happy to report there is no deformation.

The build is mainly aluminium alloy with the exception of a few connecting parts and unfortunately the top step. I left it outside in the rain a few times there is slight surface rust on the top step where some wear is. I may coat it with some antislip coating to prevent further rust. It's very minor issue.

The ladder stands on all fours when placed on a level surface, there's no tripod issue so it's very stable. The rubber feet are very soft suitable for wooden floor and indoor use.

    • Is the ladder packaged/sealed in plastic when you buy it or does it comes as an unpackaged item?

      • +1

Mine came in shrink wrapped plastic

  • Just picked mine up. Nothing special. It's definitely not worth the alleged original price. ok for around the house but overall quite flimsy (especially last step). It's handy to change lightbulbs or grab stuff from the top of the closet but don't expect anything more. Quite light though which to me is the main redeeming feature.
