What sort of proof would you need for Dan Murphy's to price match? There's not a vintage cellar anywhere near me..
I picked up 2 from Elwood 3184 and another 2 were left the balaclava store was sold out. ……. limited stock…… must be left over Christmas stock. gift packs…… ok if you want the glasses but not a bargain if you compare to the cost beer by the slab….. works out $75 for 24 bottles if you buy gift packs.
I think this is poor value no matter how you look at it. Good deal based on RRP though.

$12.50 for 4 crappy beers brewed in the PRC is never a good deal IMHO.
If anyone is after premium Japanese beer, try find black Yebisu. Might be able to find it at an Izakaya themed restaurant
I had this in Japan on tap and it was very tasty ! Would like to know of any bottle shops that can supply it in Australia.
Lived in Japan for a year or so and can't remember which beers I've tried there. Went to this restaurant recently, had a black Yebisu, and suddenly all the memories came flooding back.
If a restaurant can get it, they might be ordering it through an importer like this one
