          I have one 20% for a place 40 minutes drive away so can only imagine it's quality by the time it got to me and one for 40% for a place at least an hour away if not more with traffic.

          Anything actually in my area has no discount as usual plus it's nothing but Indian places and pizza capers

        It sounds like Delivery Hero simply doubles the base discount (a store that normally offers 25% off to new customers would be set to 50% during the promotional period) on first-time purchase offers. I'd wager a guess that the restaurant still takes the hit on their normal first-time discount offer, but Delivery Hero would pay for the extra 25% that they added on.

    Used the app; it showed up the discount, then when I clicked through to pay with card it doesn't show the total amount payable. I just assumed it would be the amount displayed on the prior screen, so entered my CCV in, and I've been charged full price. Annoying.

    Tried to order 1st time using my visa then got an error regarding my order hence my online payment was declined
    Then I tried to use paypal instead and now the code won't work saying it's already been redeemed

    EDIT : Just signed up with a different account using paypal redeemed code and all worked fine, now just waiting for the confirmation SMS or email,
    Can anyone tell me how long it normally takes or is the delayed time due to deliveryhero being "ozbargained" ?

    set up a new account and tried to order from a restaurant I have ordered from before but the code won't give the discount even though they are offering this for new customers. Anyone know any way around this.
    Basically I had an account so I created one in my wife's name and email address, does delivery hero recognize the address or something?
    Can't see how others have been able to order from the same restaurant.

        did you have to log back into your account?
        I've done it twice now, last week and today. I had errors initially both times but after clearing cookies (g.chrome), it went through.
        My steps were;
        reset cookies.
        pick restaurant
        pick food
        then log in when prompted, apply discount and pay via paypal.

    I messaged them through their facebook page. They've apologised for the inconvenience and refunded the amount back to my credit card which may take 2-3 days to appear.

      That was my understanding too, but definitely was not the case from what i saw. I think they mean they have doubled some that were less last time…. but its not the case for any of mine best i can tell. All pretty much the same as usual promo.

    Managed to reorder as well from my local pizza place which has 50% discount tonight. Went in & cleared cookies from my browser, then logged in (via CashRewards of course!) and ordered (this is the 4th time I've ordered from them - every time gotten 50% off).

    All was fine! Remember to clear your browser cookies if you are having trouble! :-)

    Man, that was a race against the clock! Tried to order one of those family meal deals from an Indian restaurant but there was an error on the website which didn't let me check out with it. Spent some time on the phone with DH, finally got it working with almost 10 minutes till close.

    If anyone from Bite of India is a member here, sorry for keeping you back late… Hopefully there isn't too much spit in my meal. :)
