  • do they charge in $AUD or $US? As in will I be subject to PayPal or credit card conversion rates?

    • +1

Last time I used them they were charging USD so after PayPal conversion the price got a bit higher than their indicated AUD price (~1%).

      • I assume their quoted AU$ price adds 2%, as Paypal is generally some extortionate amount like 3%.

  • Does this version support Quick Charge? The size of battery can be a pain to recharge.

  • Lacks GPS & 64GB ROM would be better with Dual OS

What would you recommend o tablet oracle?

  • careful of that 3735 processor. This will have a hard time browsing on chrome, youtube at 1080p through chrome will be slow, expect it to stutter once the temps go up and slight throttle kicks in. Edge or android is perfectly smooth though.

  • Don't know if still active, but Teclast X98 Air III may be obtainable for $125, which could be a viable alternative: http://techtablets.com/2016/01/deals-teclast-x98-air-iii-for…

From what I could read up on…
Pros: slightly better screen, speakers, camera and longer battery life
Cons: not dual boot by default (can be set up if this is what you want), slower drive

There's also the updated version, Onda V919 Air CH, for $170: http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_261205.html (2 units remaining at that price at time of writing)

The +$41 gets you a newer processor and double disk space and RAM, but doesn't come with Android (dunno if it can be flashed on later).
Design looks a little different, so unsure if it fixed some of the issues of the previous version. Unfortunately, reviews for this seem to be lacking. :(
