They're made in Taiwan, that's why it's cheaper than one that made in Singapore/Japan.

  • Pretty damn good for DL's

  • what is the difference… made in taiwan vs. singapore/japan?

    • Don't know but I;ve never seen discs made in Singapore before.

  • Tiawan made Verbs are well known to very poor, compared to Singapore.

    • Do you have any proof of that claim?

I had always thought Taiwan made MCC Verbs are one of the best quality DVD-Rs made outside of Japan.

Or are you talking about DL DVDs only?

      • +1

Yes I agree with fufufu. I haven't used any SG-made DVD-Rs but I have been using TW-made DVD-Rs since I have my DVD burner. I particulary choose Ritek and I haven't had an issue with them. I also use Philips CD blanks which are made in TW and I have no problem with them too.

        • exactly same here!

      • I have no idea about non-DL, but after years following the 360 modding scene, Singapore Verbs are the way to go. And available from JBs.

  • Yep, I own an xbox 360 modding site, we've had loads of people complain that these discs, disc stutter is quite common if you use them for games, if you use them for video though they are good

  • Thats pretty cheap for Verbatim DL's….. I havent used them my self because they are too expensive… Always used Intact or Ritek's… what ever is in stock and cheap prices (25 spindles ~ $22 bucks)…. I usually have 1 out of 100 failed disc… but thats probably my fault for trying to do too much at one time….

  • The ones on verbatim.com.au (www.verbatim.com.au/en_AU/products/storage-media—dvd/dvd-dou…) are printable and are $100 on staticice, however these $69 ones do not even appear on verbatim.com.au and can often be hard to write on with a marker…

  • If it's made by prodisc taiwan then its likely going to be bad, but the ones made by cmc taiwan works well.
