  • Hi Michael

Which remote will go for Nissan Pulsar MY 2004?

  • Nah I need the full remote. Any place you suggest for that?

    • eBay will be the most affordable but depending on what type of remote you require you may need to take it to a locksmith. Email through a pic of your remote and I will be able to point you in the right direction.

      • Thanks again Michael. I have lost the remote so can't send you the photo however it looked like (http://www.ebay.com.au/bhp/nissan-pulsar-remote)
Please guide me in the right direction.
Also I am looking for 2 garage remotes for Gliderol TM-390+. Can you please tell me which one I should buy from your website.
        Cheers!

  • Hi Michael
Do you have the key shell for Toyota tarago 2001

  • Any chance you can get some small simple remotes with just one button? I don't understand why they all have 4/5 buttons when almost all of us only need one, and even if we did need to open four garages they would almost definitely be different systems, hence we would need four remotes with four or five buttons.

I've been using the two button ATA PTX-5 remotes which are at least smaller, but doesn't look like you've got any of those.

    • Hi,

Is your two button remote pink or orange? We may have a remote that will be smaller than what you are currently using but nothing with one button only. Our PTX5 remotes are much slimmer than the original 4 button version and most likely smaller than the two button also. Please let me know if you have any questions.

  • Hi rep,

Is the elsema remote you have compatible with the FMT301?
My remote is a fairly large brick with 12 dip switches and runs off a 9v battery.

It has a single button and is used in an apartment complex. I have an existing working remote to copy the dip switch settings

    Thanks

    • +2

Yes, our Elsema compatible remote is suitable for the FMT301. It's smaller than the one you will be currently using but it is still a bit chunky. If it is for one door only this remote will be suitable for you. We have a 30 day money back guarantee so even if you don't like the style or size, you are more than welcome to post it back for a refund no questions asked :)

Which remote do I need for my neighbour's 2009 Toyota Yaris?

  • +1

Ordered one garage remote. These guys were the cheapest by around $15 after discount that I could find. Even before discount they were cheaper.

Website looks pretty cool in that you can checkout with a range of payment options including bitcoin! Not that I have any…

Great experience and great discount. Best of luck with the sales!

    • Thank you very much!

Cheers rep, ordered two garage remotes.

    Great prices, even before discount!

    • Thank you :)

    Michael

I couldn't see this on your website, but do you have any garage door monitors? That is a system or light that will tell you from inside the house whether the door is open or closed. The one I have seen one on the market is about $150 and uses a tilt sensor so when the door moves from vertical, it lights up. I'm not sure it is that important that I want to spend that much.

Also looking for the sensor that will stop the door if there is a child/car in the way. This is for a Steel-Line unit.

    • The sensor to stop the door if there is someone underneath is called a photo beam/cell. You can get these off eBay for approximately $50 and install them yourself. In terms of the function of knowing if the door is in the open or closed position, there is no affordable option on the market at the moment. If you have any questions, please let me know.

    • Dick Smith had garage/shed alarms that work via a reed switch, not sure of your application but if someone opens your door you should be able to hear it from your house

    • Hi Michael,
Please let us know if you found the garage door open or close indicator light. I need one too. I leave my remote on the car and we have a wall mounted unit inside the house to close the garage door. Sometimes we forget to close the garage door.

    Hi michael,

Just some feedback in regard with your remotes. Compared to any other store that I purchased my garage remotes from, I found you the cheapest, fastest and most reliable in service and quality. I was very impressed with my last batch of boss garage remotes, the price as so good I purchased 4 (3 spares)

Seeing that you have another sale on, no brainer for me to buy a few more. At this price it's a steal for me

Cheers for supporting us, have always recommended your website to my friends and colleagues for replacement remotes

    • +1

Thank you very much for the praise and I am very glad to hear that you are happy with the service and the products and we will continue to support all of you as best we can. Have a great Australia Day!

  • Got a two button "BOSS" remote for our garage. Model number 2211-L (TX). Looking to get a second one. Can you help with that?

Perfect. Thanks Michael. Got quoted $70 or more in a local store a few months ago. Your price is a real bargain in comparison!

        • Glad to help!

        • @RemotePro:

Okay, looks like I have to test your customer service now. Received the two remotes in the mail today.

Unfortunately, the instructions do not apply to my garage door motor. I have a Boss Model 61706 which, first of all, does not have a faceplate and when I remove the full cover does not have an obvious radio set/learn button. Here's a photo of what I'm looking at: http://s23.postimg.org/tc767hg6z/IMG_0144.jpg

Can you please advise how to program the remotes? Thanks!

        • @dynamike:

          Hi,

Can you please send through some more photos of the motor. Preferably a photo not so close up. It looks like you have an older motor with a receiver fitted so the standard instructions will not apply to your set up.

        • @RemotePro:
Thanks for your great help via private message. All working now.

    • I don't think he can, but he can probably get you a 3rd one

  • Hi

Looking for a small remote that will work for s Merlin MR850 roller door opener. Do you have any that would work with that and if so is there any "programming" required?

    Thanks

  • Hi Michael!
Do you have the key shell for my Toyota Vienta 1999 model?, which is quite similar to other Toyota Camry models with one button key

    • Unfortunately we do not stock this one. eBay will be the best place for this product.

  • Hi, I've sent & received your SMS that I would require a "Boss Guardian Steel Line Remote"….I already have a functioning remote, but would like to have another for the "rear roller door"…..if I "code" the new one, will the existing one still work, or would I have to code both the "new" and "existing" remote? Cheers

    • The existing remote will not be affected once the new remote is coded. You will be able to use both remotes at the same time.

Thanks!! Great advice & service…..as an after thought, do you carry a remote for a 2004 (MY 2003) Rover 75 Connoisseur SE?

        • Thanks for your assistance - have ordered the applicable remote!! BTW "do you carry a remote for a 2004 (MY 2003) Rover 75 Connoisseur SE?"

Prices look good. Ordering a B&D roller door remote. Local supplier wanted $70.
Will there be a tax invoice included?

    Also, wanted a key/remote for wife's Hyundai i30.
Says you only have blank…..guess it's a genuine part required then?

    • Hi,

The confirmation email sent when an order has been placed can be used for a tax invoice. Our Hyundai i30 key shell is used when the original key has been damaged, you will remove the key and electronics and move them over the new shell. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I can vouch for Remote Pro. Bought last time around using eBay 2 remotes. Smooth transaction.

    • Thank you :)

Thanks rep, my remote is giving me the shits, got to press the button 50 times, jiggle the battery (new battery). Was thinking of a replacement, bunnings was way too much. Ordered!

    • Glad to help!

      • And thanks for the fast shipping. Works perfectly, will be ordering another one soon.

  • Hi Michael,
I need a remote for a garage door (vicway 380/390), but my original remote looks different to the ones you pictured. Mine has only 2 buttons, one small, one large. Di you have something for a replacement?

    • Hi,

This remote via the link below will be compatible with your current remote.

      https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/vicway-v380g-remote

      • Thanks for that Michael. I also have an mhouse that looks like this:
        https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/mhouse-myhouse-remote

Is there is one remote that can control both?

        • Unfortunately there is no remote that can do both. You must have a garage installer attach a receiver to one of your motors to match up with the other which will allow you to use one remote. If you have any questions, please let me know.

        • @RemotePro:
Thanks for that Michael. Ordered some remotes from you.
Do you sell a receiver for the mHouse remotes (to install onto the vicway opener)?

  • Hi there could you tell me if you do any Airkey remote controls for Gates. Thanks

    • Unfortunately we do not stock Airkey remotes. Sorry :(

  • +1

Just want to say these guys give great service and are so helpfu with any enquiries.

    • Thank you very much. Happy Australia Day!

  • Hi Michael,

I have a PTX-5V2 remote. Would your ATA PTX-5 compatible remotes be suitable as extras?

    Thanks!

    • Unfortunately our ptx5 is not compatible. Please let me know if you have any questions.

      • No worries. Are there any other cheaper options than the genuine PTX-5V2 remotes?

        • At the moment there are no aftermarket versions. We are expecting these to be in stock in about 6 months. At the moment the genuine remotes are $27.99 on eBay which is a really good price.

    • We are currently out of stock of this one. Sorry :(

  • Hi Michael, do you have 2009 holden cruze cdx remote shell? cheers zac

  • +1

Thanks, Michael. I was just about to order some Mazda remotes from Ebay.

Whilst being about $4 each more expensive (even after discount code), I'd rather support you.

I'm always massively impressed by your replies to questions on these threads, but last time I checked there weren't any Mazda keyfobs (but now there are!)

    Cheers :-)

EDIT TO ADD… I found the post where I mentioned you should get some Mazda Remotes… it was exactly one year ago! 26/01/2015 - 02:10 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/180452?page=1#comment-2523…

You said to "check back soon", so I did it as fast as possible ROFL.

    Anyway, Happy Australia Day.

    • Thank you Llama. Have a great Australia Day!

  • Hi Michael, I have a 1 channel Arco Remote with 12 switches, on your site there is a replacement for a 2 channel Arco Remote, would that work for me? thanks!

    • +1

Yes, our Arco remote will be compatible for you. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • hi michael,
at the back of my garage remote says e945.do you have a replacement remote control the one which got 4 buttons?thanks

    • Hi Eoulous,

Unfortunately there are currently no aftermarket remotes for this one but there is a four button version. Please search for the model E950M which is compatible and has four buttons. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • hi michael,
i couldn't find the e950m model on your website.what comes up is "i believe" an original merlin remote.please help.thanks for your reply.

  • Hi rep, is the green and red button remote for smart roller better than the four button remote?
I currently have to press the four button one multiple times before it responds.
I recently moved in so I'm not sure if it's just because the remote is getting old from the previous owners or not. I changed the battery but it will doesn't respond very well.

    • All the remotes styles are the same and should operate the door first go. The remote may be faulty. Also the motor will have a small wire hanging down which is the antenna wire, you can try straighten this out but be careful not to pull on the cord. Another trick is to erase the remote and program one of the other buttons as it may be only one of the buttons that is playing up. Let me know how you go!

      • +1

Wow thanks for the quick response!
I'll give this a go today and if it's still frustrating me I'll grab the green/red one off you to try :)

Thanks again and happy Australia Day!

  • Hey Michael,

I have a couple of Merlin garage remotes that need replacing. The ones I have are s*&t, dropped it a million times and they come apart. I have the 3 button keyring remote, is there any options other than replacing them i.e. changing cases but still using the internals? Cheers

    • Yes, you have two options. You can purchase an enclosure for your remotes for approx $20-30 (we do not stock these but can refer you to a few websites that do. You other option is to purchase an aftermarket remote which we stock for $17 less the discount. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Can you point me in the direction on the after market one on your site, you may as well send me a link to the other websites you mentioned to compare

  • Hi Michael, looking for 2 or 3 garage remotes, the DiTEC GOL4. Any chance?

    • Hi Walter,

      Please follow the link below:

      https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/ditec-remote

      • Thanks for the very quick response.
Unfortunately we have used that model before and found the battery life very short and range limited so was really looking for the more expensive model if you had any? It is shown in the left image of the link you provided

        • We only stock one style in the Ditec. We haven't generally had either of those issue for our remotes. Not many people stock the genuine remotes but I will have a quick look to see where you can get the most affordable remote.

        • Many thanks, much appreciated.
Given the positive nature of the ozbairgainer community to your business and your helpful prompt response I'll grab one from you regardless.
          Cheers

  • Hi. Do you sell remotes for home alarms?

    • Sorry, unfortunately we do not stock house alarms :(
