    • We don't stock it but all you will need is a replacement she'll which you can get online for about $10 and move your original electronics to the new case and spend another $30 to have the key cut.

      • This was the plan, however I dont trust myself to not have a spare at home if I sell the car. Thanks anyway :)

  • Hi Rep. I've got a garage remote like this (https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/vicway-v380g-remote) and a gate remote like this (https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/remocon-remote-king-rc…).

Is there any unit that can learn both frequencies?

    • The gate remote can learn both but you will have to take it to a key cutting business as they will have a cloning machine which will be able to copy the garages code to the gate remote.

  • Hi Michael,

I am after a replacement remote for HERCULIFT PN: 00015205. Four buttons on the front. My garage door model is HERCULIFT 800N.
I am not sure which one to order. Please help
    Thanks

  • Hi rep, the motor model is Dominator GD-03H but I have a forza1000 remote which is in a very bad condition. Which remote one should I buy… The dominator ads or just dominator remote or forza silver remote? Thanks heaps.

  • Hi Rep,
Can you confirm as long as the frequency is right (e.g 433mhz) then the remote will work?
    Thanks!

    • +1

      Hi,

No unfortunately is not that simple. We have about 20 different remotes on that frequency. The original remote must be pictured in the main image.

  • Happy Oz day Michael
My remote is Gliderol GTX M27G.
Would you have anything to replace it with?

  • Looking for something for a GDO9 Dynamo. Do you have anything that will work other than:
    * ATA PTX5 Black Trio-Code Garage Door Remote Hand Transmitter
    * ATA® PTX-5 Remote

    • +1

      Hi,

If it is a motor less than a year old using a remote with grey buttons then you must purchase a genuine remote. Are you after a different looking remote?

      • I have a few of the pink 4 button ones I wouldn't mind replacing. Also a 2 button small form factor would be great, although doesn't look like you carry it.

        • +1

Unfortunately we do not carry the two button version however our aftermarket remote is quite slim and light which might be an option for you

        • @RemotePro:
Haven't been able to get them to work. I can program them in fine (Motor responds to programming sequence as expected) but buttons don't do anything once it is programmed.

  • Mike,
Any of your remote is compatible to Seip TM80 Garage Door motor? [http://www.seip.com/gbseiten/gb4.html]
    Thanks.

    • +1

      Hi,

Yes, the link below is compatible. We've been a bit slack and haven't updated the listing. The remote looks slightly different and it is compatible with the TM-80. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Mike,
Some internet post states an 'add on' receiver is required to modify the usage of the abovementioned remote. Can you confirm there's no add on for your recommendation and it will work?

It is about $2 cheaper to buy the identical item on their ebay site with free shipping as well.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331054368149?ssPageName=STRK:MESI…

    • +2

I saw there were cheaper prices on ebay, but I didn't realise it was the same company. Or slightly cheaper with other sellers http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MERLIN-M832-M842-M844-Compatible-…

    • Hi,

Some items are cheaper on eBay as the prices fluctuate automatically depending on other sellers however there are many products on the website that are cheaper. We also offer longer warranty and quicker dispatch time on our website.

  • Hi Michael

You should get more car remote cases. I am trying to buy 2 Mazda remote shells like these…

    • Hi,

We are slowly growing our automotive range. Please check back with us soon!

  • do you have magic button?

    • Hi,

If your remote is quite a large bulky remote with little switches inside unfortunately we do not stock this remote. You will need a remote call 'Elsema'.

  • Do you have a remotes for motorized home theatre screen? Thanks

    • Hi,

Unfortunately we do not stock remotes for home theater. If it's an infrared remote that you are after there are many affordable universe remotes available online.

      • Thanks Rep. Unfortunately it is an RF remote.

  • Hi,

I have a garage door remote that includes my house alarm.

Do you have the same that you can recommend?

    Thank you.

    • You will most likely have a receiver added to both your alarm and garage motor. Without knowing the brand I will be unable to point you in the right direction.

      • Hi,

The brand of the remote is activor.

  • Hi Rep
I've got a Beninca TWV remote. Do you have a compatible one?
    Thanks.

  • Same should get more car remote shells. I'm trying to locate a replacement shell for a Subaru Impreza RV 2002 AWD. Original key looks like this. I find similar ones but nothing that look like this one which I'm finding impossible to find. Rather replace the case than having to buy an original replacement key/remote set for $200+ from Subaru.

  • Hi Rep, I have a Merlin MR800a garage door and have no remotes to open it anymore. Which one of your sales one will work on it and are they easy to program without original remote? Cheers and Happy Australia day.

  • We have a ptx5v1 remote and would like to have a second one. Which one would be suitable for that?

  • Bought 2. Nice work having a bitcoin payment option - definitely would have used it but was too quick on the CC option before I saw it!

  • Any Subaru Forester (2000) immobilizer/key? (Orig or aftermarket version fine. I couldn't see them on the site, thought I'd see what you have planned)

Also, my car came with a separate central-locking control… can I get a duplicate/combined-key/other of this?

    Pic of Front and Back

    • +1

I've had a long look for this and can only find similar looking keys not identical. Sorry I couldn't help.

  • +7

Seller has same remotes on ebay which are cheaper than with the discount.

    • +6

I should have bought from their ebay store. Could buy pack of 2 too instead of 10 from their website. Cheaper from their ebay store.

      • +3

No one has noticed it as they're too busy playing with themselves because the rep is answering questions.

      • +5

Just checked eBay for a garage remote and even after discount is still more expensive than its ebay store .So, this deal advertised in ozbargain is not really a bargain anymore . Shouldn't it be closed moderator ?

        • Yes, it shouldn't count as a bargain, but given the amount of service and information provided, I'm happy to pay a little extra more.

        • Agree. Cheaper on eBay for the generic Merlin M832 replacement I was looking at. Around $9 each or $15.50 for 2.

Just wondering if I purchase one of these aftermarket remotes. Can you program both the door and the light button from the original remote onto separate buttons with the aftermarket remote?

  • Hi Michael,
Do you have a remote compatible with O&O system?

    • Hi,

I'm not familiar with that brand. Please email through a photo of your remote and I will hopefully be able to point you in the right direction.

  • Hi Michael,

I have the GDO-11V1 will this work with the ATA® PTX-5 Remote?
Your websites says compatible with GDO-11 but no mention of the V1 so im just double checking before i place an order. :)

    Thanks

    • Hi,

If you are currently using remotes with pink or orange buttons then our remote will work. If your remote has grey buttons then our remote will not work. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • Hi Rep, I have a SUPERLIFT 4 button remote (N3588 sticker on back) with 3 buttons active controlling 3 separate garage doors.
Can I check which is the best remote to order.

Looking at your web site it looks like I shoulder order AVANTI REMOTE PRO.
    Is that correct?

Does the Avanti Remote pro have 4 buttons - from pic looks like it has 2 large one and 2 small ones.
Also, it is east to program the the remote ??

    • Hi,

Yes, our avanti remote has four buttons, very easy to program. If your current remote looks similar to one of the remotes pictured then our remote will be compatible.

      • Thanks for prompt reply!
One last question - to program the new remote can it be done from the original remote or must it be from the control panel of each garage door.
Also, if I reprogram for the new remote, will I lose the codes for the other remotes (sorry for ignorant question).

        • Not ignorant at all! The coding must be done from each motor and cannot be done via the remote. Your existing remotes will be unaffected and continue to work. If you have any questions, please let me know.

        • @RemotePro:
          Bought 3 ! Thanks !

        • +1

          @pencilman:
Read all the posts re the ebay pricing and checked it out..

I guess I too should have checked the ebay store and saved myself $3x3.
Oh well, too fast on the draw this time - which is rare on Ozbargain.

  • Got 1 for the garage. Thanks OP

    • Thank you!

      • just bought another one. it was easy to setup. Great stuff

  • Bought a garage door opener….thanks

    • Thank you!

  • hi Rep - I have a Remote King model RCR10 - 23A Battery garage door remote (had it programmed at the shops) - is there a model that I could buy to transfer the signal currently in this remote to have a spare garage door remote? thanks

    • Do you know what your original remote looked like before the remote King remote? Alternatively please reply with your motors make and model.

      • It was a tiltamatic - black box with blue button? TRG103 from what I can see on the Internet…. If that helps ? Thanks for your quick response :) would it be easy to program the remote myself?

        • That helps a lot! Thanks for that. Please follow the link below. Programming is really easy. The remote has 8 little switches inside that go up or down. Your motor will also have the same switches which you will copy onto the remote. If you have any questions, please let me know.

          https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/tiltamatic-remote

  • +2

Oh no! I ordered 5 different remotes and now realise I was better off ordering from eBay. This seller should be banned from here forever.

    • Why?
For $11.25 per remote with immediate feedback as to the correct remote I need to get, I would consider that a bargain.
How much cheaper is it on eBay?

      • +3

Atleast $4 cheaper each in my case. I didn't need any further information as I knew which remotes I needed.

  • hi rep,do you have replacement remote for ATA TXA 2 its being used for a boat winch to launch and retrieve a boat.thanks

    • Unfortunately we do not stock this one. Sorry I couldn't help further. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • +3

Just bought 2x Merlin remotes from your eBay store for $16.90, with free shipping - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-x-Merlin-M832-M842-M844-Series-…

Would have cost $22.50 on your website.

Not going to neg you on this as it's still a good deal, and I like the way you're dealing with people on the site, but you shouldn't be selling it for $5.60 cheaper on eBay (and you're having to pay fees on that!), and your comment on it being shipped slower is contradicted on your eBay page ("WE ARE BASED IN AUSTRALIA AND POST FROM QLD SAME DAY"), and your comment about warranty being shorter for eBay sales just seems immature and damaging to your stores reputation. Not trying to be negative, just provide constructive feedback.

    • +1

Agreed. Good work on the communications OP, but I also purchased a remote with a discount on your Ebay store…

  • Thanks Rep, grabbed one. Nice and cheap.

  • Just wondering, which of the garage motors are the more premium ones?

There's lots of brands out there, just wondering which ones are the reputable/higher-end ones.

    Thanks :)

    • Hi,

The most reputable brands are ATA (Automatic Technologies Australia), B&D and Merlin in no particular order. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • +4

I neg'd this deal as it's cheaper to buy it from the OPs ebay site. I find this quite misleading. I purchased 2xPTX-4 remotes from the ebay store for $16 shipped. The exact same items on the website would have cost $30 shipped. I think the OP should have put a disclaimer on the post saying that his ebay store is cheaper.

  • +4

As others have mentioned their eBay store is still cheaper than the 25% off with free ship, just checked a prev order I made using eBay and it was even cheaper than their current eBay prices which indicates they have sales on eBay too.

  • Hi Rep, I've got a Securalift GDO-11V1 what remote will work with that

    • Hi,

If you are currently using a remote with pink or orange buttons then please follow the link below. If the buttons on your remote are gray, unfortunately we do not stock the remote you require. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • Hi Rep
Mine looks like the ATA TX-5 Remote
    Remote Pro
It says N1854 on the back.
But it has green buttons instead of red.
What is the remote I need?
    Cheers

    • Hi,

Unfortunately we do not stock the remote you require. If you are after a key ring sized remote you will need to purchase a remote called Elsema Key 301. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • Hi,
wondering if you can help me in choosing the right model, I have M800 remote but the garage unit says 430R (Prolift) (installed in 1997), though the remote works fine. So not sure which one should I buy.
    Thanks,

    • Hi,

The current model remote for your motor is called an M802. We do not stock these but you can get them online or from Bunnings. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • Hi, we have a garage door remote. Type = BOSS, on PCB it says "TX310-RT1587 VER:01 RoHS", takes 12v battery. Can you suggest replacement ? Thanks

    • Unfortunately the numbers you have quoted are not much help. We have quite a few different Boss remotes. If you could please send through a picture of your remote I will be able to point you in the right direction.

      • I found the red BOSS remote on your website. It was $4 cheaper than ebay site. So, thanks alot !

        • received yesterday, worked straight away ! many thanks - ordering another.

  • Hi, I've lost the remote controls for the Steel line garage and wondering if you have a remote control that suits the Steel line garage series. I believe the the model for the garage is B/RD1A Roller Door Opener (link below). The remote control is lost so I don't know the model number.

    http://www.steel-line.com.au/garage-roller-door-openers.html

The remote control looks like the blue/white one in the ebay link

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/garage-door-remote-control-compat…

    Any help is appreciated,
    Thanks.

    • Unfortunately the remote we stock requires a working original. We are trying to source an original and once we do we will be able to pre-code a remote for you. So if it's not urgent, please check back with us. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Thank you, if you manage to get a set of these remotes please keep me updated.

  • Hi Op,
