but I cannot see any thing like my original one. here is the reference link:
        http://www.easy-taobao.com/taobao/view/id/5234443428

        would you have something similar?

        Cheers,

        Bob

        • Hi Bob,

This one unfortunately is discontinued. Your best option is to add a receiver onto your motor. If you have any questions, please let me know.

        • @RemotePro: thanks Michael

  • Hi Michael

I have an old Merlin MT5580 grade door with a small circular green remote. I am looking for a second and third remote. What remote could I buy, official or aftermarket, that would work? It doesn't even need to work all the time, only when I can't be bothered parking and walking from the driveway. Thanks.

  • I'm looking for two, and I couldn't figure them out/find them on your site.

    1) House Alarm - Bosch RF3334E

    2) Simple Garage door - FMT-301 (OHKFMT-301 - my brand is Magic button)

    Can you help with either?

    Thanks.

    • We do not stock either of these. Sorry I couldn't help further. :(

  • Hi Rep,
I have an ATA TXA-1, do you have a replacement remote for this?
It has 12 dipswitches. Do I just need to copy the configuration in the replacement remote?

    • Hi,

You will require a remote called Elsema. We do not stock it but you can purchase this online.

  • Hi i have a Merlin prolift 430r (lost the remote) which one should i buy? thanks

    • If your old remote had green buttons please follow the link below. If it had blue buttons you require a remote called Merlin M802 which we do not stock.

      https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/merlin-m842-m844-m842-…

      • hi again, thanks for the info! unfortunately we moved into the house and there was no remote so we have no way of knowing the colour of the buttons.

  • Just registered for you, the remote I have is B&D Home link, do you stock those?
Also I have a old toyota alavon from 2003, which also needs a remote, do you have those?

  • +2

hi rep, can you explain why your ebay store cheaper than your site with 25%? you know this is ozbargain right?

    • Hi,

Some items are cheaper on our ebay store however many are cheaper on the website. Our prices on eBay fluctuate automatically. By all means if the particular product that you require is cheaper on eBay, please purchase it through there. If you have any questions, please let me know. :)

  • Thanks Rep, just ordered 2 airport remotes for our Gryphon garage door (the one's we have look exactly the same but the connections are crap) and a hdmi cable. Pity you don't have any Nissan Cube or Toyota Prius keys which can be programmed.

  • Hi I have a marantec comfort 270.. do you have a remote to replace my model?

  • Awesome thanks OP, bought 3 remotes for $33.75 delivered, last one I bought was $35 each.

  • Looking at one of the aftermarket remotes for a Merlin M832. Just wondering if I purchase one of these. Can you program both the door and the light button from the original remote onto separate buttons with the aftermarket remote?

    • Hi,

Yes, the after market remotes are able to learn the same functions as the original. If you have any questions, please let me know.

  • The remotes I bought were cheaper on the website than their eBay store. I don't think there was intent by the rep to deceive, so I think the neg's are a bit unnecessary. Buying a suitable remote is not easy. I have not done so for years, because I could not find one which I was confident would work, let alone for less than $35. This website is clear and the rep answers questions. I understand that the eBay prices fluctuate, because it's a cut-throat market.

  • Hi Rep,

I got a Gliderol Glidermatic GTS, which remote should I get? Thanks.

    • Hi,

This is the core remote for your motor. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Rep I sent you a question in your inbox this morning, can you please reply, I want to be able to take advantage of your sale before it ends?

        • Hi,

I'm not sure if I have received your email. Can you please resend your question and I will reply as soon as possible.

        • @RemotePro: I re-sent but I will paste here in case, the information could help others as well.

          Hi Rep,

Seems as though your doing an amazing job being super helpful!

I was hoping to ask you a question and depending on your answer purchase a product before your promotion ends.

I am looking at the following remote: https://www.remotepro.com.au/collections/garage-gate-remotes…

I move between 2 homes, one was built 10 years ago and has a Marantec remote with a 4 button configuration (with 3 of those buttons programmed) and the other has a Marantec remote with a 2 button configuration (only 1 of the buttons programmed) that was built last year.

          My 2 questions are:

Can I program the Marantec 4 Button Remote's spare button the frequency of the new houses garage door? (this would eliminate the need to carry around 2 remotes all the time)

If the above is possible, can I purchase the remote you linked and program all 4 roller doors from both property's to the one remote?

Follow-up question, what is the range on the remote I am looking at purchasing?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

        • @yacman:

          Hi,

The email is not coming through for some reason so thanks for posting the question here. If both Marantec remotes that you are currently using are pictured in the link below then our remote will be able to operate all four doors (one door on each button).

You will also be able to copy the fourth door from the two button remote to your other remote that currently has one button spare but you will require a small three pinned connector which is usually supplied with the motor so not sure if you have this.

The range of our remote is comparable with the current remotes that you are using and you should get 20-30M of unobstructed range. If you have any questions, please let me know.

        • @RemotePro: Thanks so much for your reply rep!

I actually bit the bullet and purchased one yesterday without your reply. So it's good news it will work the way I intended.

          Can you please elaborate on:

"You will also be able to copy the fourth door from the two button remote to your other remote that currently has one button spare but you will require a small three pinned connector which is usually supplied with the motor so not sure if you have this."

This would be for the newer motor? because that is quite new I have the full booklet so I will have a look if I have this connector, but if I manage to track that down can you advise what the process is from there, or perhaps link me to a tutorial of some sort?

          Thanks for your help!

        • @yacman:

          Hi,

Please follow the link below to a YouTube video. It shows you how to clone the remote using the method with the connector. We also have a video on our site in the support section which shows how our remote is coded.

  • I'm getting a lot of "nginx/1.6.0 502 Bad Gateway" messages when trying to go via PayPal. Thought I'd let you know …

As for the remote, I have a B&D Tilt-A-Matic TRG-306 garage door, I'm guessing this is what I need? https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/tiltamatic-remote

    • Thanks for letting me know. Yes, that is the remote for you. Please let me know if you continue to have issues with making payment.

      • Thanks :) Seemed fine now. Purchased (Order #1967)

  • thanks rep, ordered #1797 - 2 x b&d remotes on monday, delivered to perth today, will try the programming when i get home

    • No worries at all. If you require any assistance, please let me know.

      • Thanks, programming was simple and fast, both remotes working perfectly

  • Got mine today, very quick. They are smaller, much sturdier, better looking, and way cheaper than the originals. They work great. Very pleased.

    • Hi,

Very glad to hear that you are happy with the remotes!

  • Got me remotes. Work as expected. Good seller. Me happy camper.

  • Op you got remote for Marine Comfort 800? Will this do the job?

    https://www.remotepro.com.au/products/marantec-remote

Going around advertising to family and friends….. :)

    • Hi,

Yes, this remote will work as long as your current remote works and looks the same as one of the three remotes on the left. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Ta. Ordered two. Another two to be ordered soon!

  • Got my remote. Working fine..

However when I program I seem to lose access with my other remotes.
    I have a SuperLift SDO-1

I am suspecting you can only have 8 or so buttons (codes) working at any one time?
Do you know if these is correct?

    • Hi,

Each motor does have a memory limit which is usually between 6-12 remotes. When your memory is full it will either not allow you to code in any additional remotes or it will erase the oldest remote from the memory. How many remotes do you have in total?

      • I have 3 remotes. Yer I can program 6 buttons (2 on each OK)
When I try all 4 buttons on each I loose codes.

        • Yes, so programming more than one button per remote is not supported by all motors. Some brands will allow it but others like your motor will either only allow one button per remote or will behave exactly hot your motor is when the respective limit is reach.

Generally the additional buttons are intended for homes with more than one door or for use for other functions e.g. Programming one button to operate the door and another button to operate the motors light only.

Every motor is different as to what features it has so it's best to look up your manual and see what features you have available.

I hope this all makes sense.

  • Just wanted to say I'm impressed with the PTX-4 clones I purchased from you a week ago. They were easy to setup and I like the sliding cover to ensure they don't false trigger in your pocket. The key ring D's seems much more sturdy than the OEM ones (I've broken 2 key ring D's on the OEM plastic ones).
The only issues I can see are -
    1. The clones are twice as heavy (yeah my wife complained so I actually weighed them, lol)
    2. Maybe the numbers 1 to 4 will rub off the buttons over time? Hopefully I will have remembered which is which by then!

    • Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. We have another style of the ptx4 which is half the weight of the remote you have received and also has embossed plastic buttons which ensures the numbers will never run out.

If your wife prefers a lighter remote you're more than welcome to swap over one of the remotes for the lighter model.

      • OK cool thanks

  • I have a Gryphon garage door, with a 4 channel MIDI transmitter 433 Mhz. Which remote would you recommend

  • I received my remote today, programmed it (easy peasey) and it's working like a charm. I'm going to order another one!

  • Just received my remote, very good quality and was programmed in a minute
    Highly recommended
