Not the cheapest it's been but if anyone's after a decent price for the C3 all rounder this is a decent little saving. Plenty of stock around as far as I can see.
Unsure on how long it will be on special

  • Or buy it from the TGG then claim the difference?

    • Godfrey's isn't on the list as an Approved Retailer

  • Is this good value?
In the market for something costing around the same, haven't started research as yet.

I've been in the market for a vacuum for about 3 months as my Dyson animal was falling apart. The Dyson was good, the suction always strong but the actual plastic parts were breaking/falling off so I was constantly repairing bits before it got to the point today where it became unusable.
That's my anecdotal reason I decided to steer clear of Dyson this time, but many people swear by them and get a good 10 years of use out of them. I only got 3 good years and 1 bad one.
Miele is a solid brand with a good rep, it's bagged rather than bagless but from what I've read you get better performance out of a bagged vacuum. There are heaps of models, which can make it confusing in the end I went for this as it's got all the basics, I didn't need the turbobrush head as i don't have carpet (you can buy it seperately).
If you're in need of a vac its a good deal but I'm sure if you sit and wait a while a better deal may pop up.

    • I just bought the s6 from The good guys for 229
      It has a HEPA filter.
I don't know what are the differences between these models

Bought one of these from TGG and I am completely satisfied by its performace.
Faraway the best vaccum I have owned which include Hoover, Electrolux and Dyson.

        • The very same model?
          Are they effective on carpets?

@Rorschach: Yes good on tiles and carpet.

I had a bad experience at godfreys, the Miele is what we went to purchase but the sales guy was just so persistent in us buying a cheaper (higher margin?) Hoover. His best sales point was the suction from the Hoover was way better. Anyway, was all a little weird the Miele suction was defiantly inferior,at least it appears so until it turned out the bag in the Miele was over full, bursting almost. I asked if he could change the bag so I could compare suction , he made excuses that they were not allowed ect, so I pulled it out myself and did the same with the Hoover and the suction was 1000x better with the Miele. Anyway the point is watch out for the bait and switch. They are not official stockiest of the meile and will endeavour to have you purchase anything else. That's my experience anyway

Yep same, got the bait/switch/hard sell. It was worse than buying a car.
