Nice price, alot of fun. Bowser mode is kind of sadistic, but fun and humorous. Practice matches generally help players understand the minigames.

The figure allows you to save additionals boards and items as you go. The boards generally remove points, but then award you them later.

Game requires Wii Remotes. You roll by pressing the A button or by scanning the Amiibo. One Amiibo allows you to unlock the other Amiibo boards which you save to the Amiibo and can later mix and match.

    • Can you use the Wii U controllers?

      • +2

No. A few of the mini games require you to point at the screen using the Wii Remote.

The Wii U Game Pad can be used from memory in Bowser Mode by Bowser, otherwise players need Wii Remotes. Sort of a pain, wish you could use other controllers and the available pool of games would just adapt based on what controllers were being used.

        • Some of the minigames involve motion controls and point aiming, so its possible they weren't able to switch them up as easily with the new tech in the Pro / Gamepad controllers, Splatoon seemed to figure it out though…

You are correct about Bowser mode, I forgot that you get to use the Gamepad when controlling Bowser.

    • Why didn't I scan this when I was there :(

    • Bewitching!

    • Edit: double

    • And it includes Bayonetta 1 as well

    • Can't find a copy of Bayonetta anywhere. Did anyone get a copy and not want it? Happy to grab it off you =)

  • One left at Top Ryde, NSW. It is in front of the games area, inside a display box.

  • Lego Dimensions $119 also at Big W, https://www.bigw.com.au/product/lego-dimensions-starter-pack…
In store in Werribee yesterday also had small sale on Amiibos (Something like 10% off, sorry no photo).

Can also add either Entertainment Book or Cashrewards 5% off gift cards to make them just that more tempting

  • It also helps to scan a lot of the older games. When I was there yesterday Killzone PS4 - $5, Tearaway unfolded LE - $15, etc

Good post but ultimately a dupe of this one a few days back:

    • If you list a different game in the title it seems to be let through… but I agree.

    Normal price in Belmont WA.

Yoshi is a really good game, kept the missus quiet for hours! Priceless!

  • Also xb1 battlefield hardline 15…cod advanced 10…dishonored 20…

  • +1

Got this bargain the other day, was all excited to play with the missus…then realised the Pro Controller doesn't work with the game lol.

    Massive disappointment.

  • I picked up Xenoblade 3DS for $29 from Big W Kwinana. Great price for a physical copy of that game. Great game too!

  • I can confirm there was still 1 (Mario Party 10) left at Mt Omaney (I just purchased the other one) in the cabinet as of 10am.

Just went to two stores, (HP and sunshine) and there is no stock. Good deal if you can one.

  • No Mario Party 10 with amiibo left at Macquarie Centre.
There were 6 boxes, but came back again in half an hour and they were all gone.

  • I was just at Forest Hill VIC and there were two in the cabinet.

  • Got the MP pack at Ringwood VIC

  • Thanks picked up a few games cheap
Even lady behind counter was surprised haha

  • Thanks OP. got the last MP10 at Melb QV

  • 4 left at Springfield QLD. (Mario Party)

  • At least a couple more copies of Mario Party 10 with Amiibo at Newcastle Marketown. Not on display, the staff went out back and grabbed me a copy.

  • How was this not a duplicate?

  • Hmm I wonder if Big W Like Kmart getting out of gaming, looks like it with all these price drops

  • how much is the yoshi with amiibo?

    • +1

I paid $39 at Box Hill.

  • +1

Crap Forest Hill told me there were none when I called them at 1pm. Got one from Box Hill. 2 others were on hold and 1 was left

Personally wouldn't be calling any of the stores.. Unless you wanna risk the staff taking the goods and saying they have no stock…

Girl behind counter nearly fell over when she realised mario party bundle only 29… Especially since tag still said 79.

I'm sure if I had rang they may have searched and told me no stock

  • I went Watergardens this morning and they got me a MP10 from out the back, none on display. Happy with that after not getting one from Sunshine/Highpoint yesterday.

Wish they had Bayonetta 2 though which is what I really want….

  • All of this stuff was full price at Westfield Geelong

  • Few left at Parkmore keysy melbourne. A lot of animal crossing left. Was going to buy it but watched some videos and it looked boring as hell lol. Also bought code named steam for 15 bucks.

    • Same here. I'm not sure what all the fuss is around mp10. Isn't one of the consoles top shelf titles. The kids wanted yoshi's woolly world and grabbed that for them. Left the others. Will hold my pennies for the new zelda ;)

  • Just bought one at Kingsway in perth.. Price on shelf is still $79, but scanned at $29. Still one left in cabinet.

Also got a boxed yoshi wooly world for $39 which comes with the yoshi amibo. Shelf price also says $79. This is a good deal as the game itself scans at $39 with no amibo.

    • Was it the yarn amiibo or the plastic one?

    • i was so happy to have found the last one yoshi wooly world with amiibo at karrinyup yesterday.
      i almost missed it too.

WA seems to have no more bayonetta games, would have wanted that as well.

Thanks for the heads up… just picked up a Mario Party 10 pack at Kawana, Sunshine Coast. Still 3 left if anybody nearby wants one. Shelf price still shows $79 but certainly scans through at $29. I could see the surprise of the staff member at the counter as he did a double take of the price when it popped up.

    • Thanks for the heads up, i am headed up there this weekend, hopefully there is still stock left by then =/

  • does anyone think jbhifi or other retailers could price match these prices?

    • +1

Managed to match bayonetta for 29 at jb

      • i called them up this evening and they said they would match too, hoping to pick it up tomorrrow :D

  • +1

Picked one up at Parabanks in Adelaide, wasn't listed at $29 but scanned as such, as others have said. Pretty sure it was the last one. Might not be the best Mario Party (still got the first one on N64!) but should get 29 dollars worth of fun out of it.
