A few places on Staticice doing it for $15, but then you have to factor in shipping - this is $16 delivered, so pretty good - not jaw-dropping, but good none-the-less.

Bought a few from COTD when they were at $5.95,
below the mouse says 848nm performance laser just like the MX1100 but i must say the LS1 doesn't work on a lot of surfaces, even a sheet of white paper.
I remember doing a search before, couldn't find the dpi resolution of the sensor.

  848nm is correct… it's written right on the bottom of mine. Paper is no problem, nor is metal. I would've thought you would know since you bought one.
