  you dont need chromecast with android tv, i believe you can cast straight to it .. well not 100% sure but read something somewhere hehehe saves you 1 hdmi i guess :)

Hence this middle/lower end edge-lit model for $4999 is not really a bargain IMO. This has a lot of issues with light bleed.

      The 75" model is 9100c. 55" and 65" models are 9000c. They belong to the same range of 4K TV. Same specification and unfortunately same problem.

      Even on the Sony website, 9000c term is also used on the 9100c webpage.
      
      The light bleed is prevalent in this particular model because X9100c/x9000c are edge-lit and has a very slim design.
      
      For your info, the 2015 4k TV line-up based on price/specs:
      i) 75X9400c - FALD
      ii) 65X9300c and 55X9300c - Local Dimming
      iii) 75X9100c, 65X9000c and 55X9100c - Edge lit
      Iv) 65X8500c and 55X8500c - Edge lit
      
      To me, it is more worth it to get 75X9400c (two model up) for an extra $1000. It is like upgrading from Toyota Camry to Lexus LS for $10,000. 75X9400c has WAY better contrast and black levels, better image processing and better speakers.
