Note the Blaze does NOT have it's own GPS, but a function called Connected GPS which uses your phones GPS.
The big down side here is you still need to carry your phone while going for a run/ride/etc.
(PS 1% discount does not constitute a bargain IMO)

Is this really the best price on the web?

Currently this is the cheapest price for this product so this does actually constitute a bargain

      • +2

No idea who negged you. Even a dollar is a discount. Look at the Chrome Cast 2 posts.

        • I didn't neg, but the $1 discount on the chromecast is a bigger % discount than this.
(Not that I personally consider either bargains)

note the IMO, I didn't neg the deal, I just commented that IN MY OPINION a 1% (1.197% actually) does not constitute a bargain.

More important was my comment regarding the miss representation of features.

The retail price is $329.95 - how is this price (a whopping $3.95 off) a bargain?

    • -1

      Because you save $3.95!

"There's a distinct lack of innovation in the Fitbit Blaze, and there's little to really get excited about. What we do have is the best looking Fitbit ever made, and it's sure to sell handsomely to the next generation of fitness tracking enthusiasts.

However, those of us who were desperate to see Fitbit raise the bar in the accuracy and relevance of fitness metrics for our everyday lives will be sadly underwhelmed."

in other words - buy a garmin vivoactive!

      • Avoid VivoActive… Tried for an hour gave it back to the shop the next morning. So laggy! Unless Garmin updated the firmware…

        • really? - fascinating to hear your experience I have only good things to say about it

i had one day when I went for a run when it was pouring with rain that I had issues with lag - otherwise I think its great

  • $4 off RRP hardly a bargain lol

Also this is hugely overpriced - doesn't even have GPS.

    • $4 plus the welcome $25 = $29 off a product that is hardly ever discounted at stores

      • -1

Hardly ever discounted at stores? It hasn't even been released yet lol

        • I am talking about the fitbit products in general not the blaze

  • +2

IT DOES NOT HAVE GPS. CHANGE DESCRIPTION.

It's "available now" and sells for $298 at Harvey Norman. Sorry for those who paid for the pre-order.
