I've finally given in to all of the requests over the last couple of months for the 2 port Quick Charge 2.0 charger!

The car charger is Qualcomm Certified and features one USB port with Quick Charge 2.0 and a standard USB port with VoltIQ technology in both.

What is Quick Charge 2.0 and VoltIQ?

Tests have shown that a 3500mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 60% in only 30 minutes for any compatible device using Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The car charger also utilises a technology called VoltIQ that is able to detect the charging protocol used in the device to provide the fastest possible charge without the risk overheating, overcharging, short circuiting etc. This is useful for any device that does not support Quick Charge 2.0.       A lot of people didn't want to have the bulkiness of the 4 port and didn't mind that I couldn't match or beat the price.

    Any chance of a "Quick Charge 2.0" mains charger special again? There was a "Tronsmart QC2 5-Port USB Charger" one last month and "Tronsmart Titan 5x QC 2.0 Port Charger" before that

        Thanks - I've got a few chargers like that (various o/s phones) and I find they don't stay in the power points all that well. I'd prefer something with a proper Australian plug (or a lead that I can put an aussie plug on)

          Only the QC2 5 port includes a 2pin AU cable that can be used with the Titan and QC3 5 port. I personally use a Xiaomi Mi Power Strip as it takes AU/CN/US/EU adapters.

          Btw can you do a deal on the Gold cables? 6ft preferably

          The set of 3 original ones i bought last time mostly broke already. really annoyed at the crap quality

          @furythree: Xiaomi power strip's USB ports are 2A each with no QC.

          Currently I can only do the 6 pack of gold which has a few 6ft cables for $8.99 with the coupon 3USDCOUPON

          I've avoided posting microUSB cables for that reason, but I've not seen any complaints about the gold connectors so far.

          Do you leave it plugged in the wall 24hrs a day? Or do you unplug the power strip when not in use?

          @gummibear: I unplug when not in use. Xiaomi does have a safer and better quality product that most other brands, but at the end of the day it doesn't meet Australian standards and it's safest to have it unplugedd.
