    What about Toronto?

    • I looked for fares to Toronto, but Qantas is not on sale. If you are flying from Brisbane there are some ~$1300 flights on Air Canada, which is a good price for them.

      • Thanks

      • I'm also looking for Toronto in July but from Adelaide at $2100 more or less with Air Canada via Brisbane. Wish they were cheaper.

    • i am looking to go back in october and coming back in jan eithad has a sale atm under 1400, however its a long layover in dubai… and since its going in another direction its 10+ hours more on the flight. imo only worth it if you want to do something in dubai…

  • What are the stopovers? and anyone know the travel time off the top of their head?

    • Stopovers are either LAX or San Fran. Travel time varies depending on where you are flying from (eg Perth vs Melb). But you can get flights 19-21 hours each way from Melb.

  • Thanks for posting, really good prices for June from Syd! Trawling through July and August to find something similar….

  • Thanks for posting. Desperately trying to find sub-$3K flights to Canada over the New Year period. I guess it's just a waiting game (but even then it's the new year period so I doubt prices will get anywhere close to these)

    • Cost us over 3k last December :( so much cheaper during their summer!

      • Yeah I'm debating if I should bite the bullet now. I can send my wife via Korea for $2K return. But thinking that for an extra $1K I can send her direct on Qantas.

        • I flew to Toronto from 1 Dec to 3 January 2016 and paid $1800 with Cathay Pacific via HK. I had a check again days ago and could find similar prices.

@Colombian: I can get Qantas flights for $1500 each way Syd - Vancouver - Toronto return.

The Air Korea flights I found for $2K return weren't too bad. Syd - Seoul - Vancouver with 1 hour layover in Seoul.

        • @SirFlibbled: good info, do you mind sharing with me where did you get that price? I need one to travel in July to Toronto. I'm flying from ADL though, that is why I can't find them cheaper I think.

        • @Colombian: I just did a search on Iwantthatflight and it came up with STA offering that price.

Wouldn't it be cheaper for July to buy flights on the above link and just Jetstar it to Sydney?

  • Since i am not following the price for that particular route, is this the cheapest price ever, or in quite a long time? OP?

What's the "normal" price? I just want to see how much difference there is in here..

    • Great price but don't we need to apply for Canadian visa after 15 Mar 2016?

      • It's an electronic authorisation, exactly the same as the US ESTA, only that Canada is charging less.
