  • Ok OK, ill ask it.

    How good is the TV?

Guessing at that price its probably generations old and is terrible other than for maybe a bedroom occasional use tv (but it a bit big for it)

    • The cheap ones are the worst for bedroom TVs. Terrible black levels in a dark room.

On the other hand if you need a cheapie for the alfresco, or for the kids' xbox.

They're also good for covering holes in your walls.

      • Can you turn the backlight down?

You won't find many Pendophiles lurking around OzBargain.

          The Queen has a Pendo?

  • Is there actually stock of the TV anywhere? I typed a lot of towns, didn't come up with 1 hit.

    • My local says "Limited" which usually means display model or "there should be one somewhere but we can't find it".

But in WA it is available for Click and Collect and Delivery, so they have some somewhere.

      • That's beacause they are 3 hours behind to ozbargain it…

  • comparative more expensive to a 50 inch - 149

    • Target return policy is basically if you don't have a receipt you can still take the product back, but you ONLY get refunded the lowest price the product has ever been sold for.

Which would be fair enough, except… at clearance prices get lowered into oblivion. I'd be surprised if they sold more than one single TV at $149.

    Pendontgo
If you want a TV to last longer than 5 months then Pendo is a brand to avoid.
    Warranty claim -
Pendo may ask you to send to an IT company in Melbourne then you get a phone call that they cannot fix the TV. No, they will not send it back to you if you had the idea of getting someone local to fix it.
    Replacement -
No, Pendo cannot replace these TV's as they have none in stock to replace with.

  • I came in here for the 55", but have suddenly come to my senses.

    • And I just realised that bigger is not always better.

  • Friend: What's your tv brand?
