    Good price mate

Appears to be the cheapest by a fair amount and shipped. Thanks OP!

Got a ton of 18v cordless gear, but a 125mm grinder chews through batteries. Been holding-off buying. This is a sign :D

Considerably cheaper than anywhere else I can find… even SydneyTools want $89+ Del. Looking to steal some business, as they're only 600m away :D

Total Tools want $75, but there model info is all over the place. Much easier pickup options, but this deal is delivered to my door, and $6 (8%) cheaper!

EDIT: You had me at "Improved motor cooling to handle long time"

    Nice deal

  • Good timing and got one. It will be handy for my upcoming DIY home renovation.

  • Was thinking of turning my coupe into a convertible, think this'll do the job? :D

  • What's the warranty on this?
    And discs included?

  • Good price. Real good tool. I've chopped more than a few trailers with mine.

How does this compare to the 7-125 model sold at Bunnings?

    http://www.bunnings.com.au/bosch-blue-720w-125mm-angle-grind…

The one at Bunnings comes with 3 disc's and a 'carrying case' for $75. It's only rated at 720 watts but looks like it may have a slimmer body for more comfortable one handed use.

The Bunnings model is listed on Bosch's website but this model (750-125) doesn't seem to be.

    • I bought the one from bunnings for $75. It is all good but gee the head of it gets hot (area around the lock button). Not sure if this is normal?

      • Yes normal.

    • Thanks for the post.

Despite being less 30W, any significant difference between the 720W-125 and the 750W-125?

    • There are many older models kicking-around. Still no mention on the Bosch page
      EDIT: Bosch Worldwide shows it

The improvements are mention in the deal info, and on the supergrip page:

      First one of note:
"Improved motor cooling to handle long time work"
" With the improved motor cooling thanks to a maze structure of air inlets and cotton thread in the motor, it provides longer lifetime and handles long work periods with ease."

    • you really want to use a grinder 1 handed ?

  • Ordered one. Thanks

Easiest ordering experience I've had in a while, was straight forward to use the paypal sale and not have to create an account or postal address… soo easy there was no chance to have second thoughts on the purchase… :)

  • I almost wish I didn't already own one, just so I could buy this. Great deal. 5" grinder is a good size though- easier to get through sheets of corrugated iron etc than with a 4" one.

Damn peer pressure, had to go and buy one as everyone is raving at what a good deal it is. Not sure I will ever use it but will look in the garage regardless.

this model isn't shown on the Bosch website. http://www.bosch-pt.com.au/au/en/angle-grinders-125-mm-13146…

I usually recommend the slimline 720W version (GWS7-125). $75 in Bunnings any day of the week, occasionally slightly cheaper at Total Tools on sale.

  • ohh darn it..missed out..just save another $69

  • Go for cordless, I just cut through power cord of my old DeWalt grinder :(
(yes, I know that it is more expensive and using batteries fast)

  • Is there going to be anymore stock?

I must admit I get a hard on when I see Bosch Blue.

I'm a bit of a tool snob and secretly laugh at anyone using Bosch Green tools, especially when they are a tradie on TV.

  • Angle grinder is the only tool I don't pay the posh. I don't need high precision or finesse on an angle grinder. It's all noisy and nasty so I tend to buy the cheap Ryobies or Bosch greens and buy many so I don't have to swap discs/tooling and they get rotated so none of them burn up quickly. Works for me.
