    Or 2 for $47.33 delivered ;) ($23.66 each)

  • is the 10000mAh a minimum or maximum rating? cheers

    • +1

As per Xiaomi info, the 10000 appears to be the 3.7V battery rating (internally the device has 3.7V Lithium-ion batteries). The 5V output is lower, quoted at 6250mAh. I suspect many manufacturers do this - they don't quote actual Watt-hrs energy capacity.

      • I find it gives more towards the 6,000 mAh than the 10,000
Was pretty annoyed when I got it home and found that out
Thought it would charge my phone 5x before running flat, instead it only does 3x

  • Love these kinda things. Got two Energizer XPAL ones - Extremely happy. Bigger capacity & output, but a lot more money.
But I really don't know when/how I could use them more. They're gathering dust.

I lend them to my Dad, who does whirlwind business tours of US, UK, Europe. Feeds his ultrabook and phone over & over again.

Other than the obvious "on the road" purpose, I use them quite a lot to charge my PS4 controller whenever it suddenly runs out of juice in the middle of a play session. As any PS4 owner knows, this happens a lot more than it should.

When I want to use my phone on the toilet but it's on low battery and the powerpoint is 3m away but my cable is only 2m long.

  • Other deal is out of stock. Also, I can't seem to find Shopping Square on Cashrewards

  • Is this available on shopping square eBay?

  • Thank you. For this deal, and also for my Acer chromebook which is excellent!

  • Suffering Mushtato buyers remorse…it may be "only" 50 cents but it's the principle of it, if only I'd waited a few more minutes :-).

  • does this one have quick charge?

  • if I didn't combo the 5000mAh on that last deal I'd feel a little cheated :P (was +12.95 for reference). Otherwise another great price

  • Kind of new to this Powerbank biz (but I like it and NEED it!), just checking - these are all the same, right? The promotion says for 'iPad and iPhone'. I can use it for my android phone, of course? Thanks for the deal, been looking for a good powerbank!

    • +2

It has a USB port input/output so you can connect any phone providing you have the correct USB cable for it.

      • Awesome, thank you! I picked up a couple of these bad boys.

        • No problem :)

  • The battery drains over time if you don't use it.

    • +5

      I thought that'd be a given?

    • +11

it also drains over time when you use it…

Sorry noob question - how can you use this to charge your laptops?

    • You can't, unless your laptop has can normally charge via usb (or maybe there's a usb to ac adapter?)

      • A few people here are saying they are going to use this to charge their ultrabooks, chromebooks … Just wondering how they are managing to do that?

        • You can actually do it if your ultrabook is low power enough. My Retina 1.1GHz 12" MacBook can be powered by my 5000mAH Xiaomi power bank with a USB-C adapter and cable. It's not really powerful enough to charge it (I guess theoretically it's possible but it would take forever), but it definitely keeps the laptop running without depleting the MacBook's battery.

I would imagine the 10000mAH power bank would do a similar job, for longer.

  • Anyone know how long does it take to charge an iPhone 6 to full?

  • Are the 2x 5000mah ones for $29 good value? http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/product.php?id=418335

    • Not as good as the add-on for the Mushtato deal but a good price nevertheless. Just bought 2x 5000mah and 1x 10000mah one. Thanks for pointing it out!

    • That's now $39.90 for two

  • Bought 2.
    Mushtato's loss.

    • How? They have been out of stock since at least 2 pm AEDST.

      • Reads like he bought from here, hence Mushtato's loss!

        • Correct. šŸ‘

        • -2

Exactly (to the first part), but if Mushtato was out of stock when he bought from SS, how has there been any loss to Mushtato? They got their special(?) order from their supplier, and then sold all stock. Job done.

          @strangeloops66:

          rolls eyes

  • Got 3 of these at the end of last year for less than $15 each.

    • Same. It was from overseas but still you can't find those prices anymore. I thought these things should come down in price over time?

  • Anyone know if these are allowed on plane in carry on luggage on those long overseas cattle class hauls

    • +1

I carry a 15000mah pack, samsung note 5, along with my surfacebook regularly. No issues other than you have to present it going thru airport screening gates.

  • Dumb question here. So it's about 6 charges for an iPhone 5S (1570 mAh) or about 2 charges for an iPad Mini (4490mAh). Does that sound right?

    • Correct.

    • Until its efficiency is reduced. Then it could be 5 charges for iphone

    • +2

wrong - the 10000mah is from 3.7v which is what the internal battery is outputting.
However it needs to be converted to 5v for USB use -
factor in some energy loss - you get around 6250mah

if you bought this - you'll actually see this in fine print on the item.

      • +1

So realistically, an iPad Mini charge and an iPhone 5S charge?

        • +1

          yes -
you dont really have many options if you want a portable charging solution
          especially with apple products

its the same with those mophie battery backs - they quote the battery in 3.7v form I think

this xiaomi battery pack is about as good as your're going to get.
If you need more juice there is the 20000mah or 16000mah ones but you probably would be better off getting 2 of these because that way at least you can have one charging at the wall if you need.

This deal isnt about your mum, M8.

  • Has this store been removed from Cashrewards?

  • XIAOMI brand power banks are always showing up on ozbargain. Is XIAOMI a particularly trustworthy brand for power banks?

    • Yes, absolutely. They're considered one of the best brands on OzBargain.

    • If Xiaomi is not trusty for powerbank, then you would have to look for Sony, Panasonic, Sanyo, LG, Samsung brands. These are the major 18650 cell manufacturers. Xiaomi advertise their 18650 based Powerbank rely on one of the two brands listed above. Xiaomi is a premium China brand.

  • These things make awesome gifts!

  • Anyone got theirs yet? Says 1-4 working days to dispatch but apparently that would be " any day between 2016-03-08 and 2016-03-11".

Pretty strange since I ordered on the 1st.

  • Received yesterday. šŸ‘

  • I ordered 2 on the 2nd and they still haven't arrived :/
Why is it taking 8+ days to send to the next state over?

  • Was told by support that is was actually a 5-18 day processing time on this order. Once handed over to auspost it arrived within 1 day.

No packaging or padding to speak of.Cardboard box had dents in every corner and creases everywhere. Really hoping the battery pack itself wasn't damaged.

  • Bought on the first day and still has not been dispatched. These people are hopeless. Let's hope what I bought turns up.

  • Only received this on wednesday (16th). After charging for 8 hours it won't charge past halfway :( Sigh.. Should of just bought from Mushtato!
