So they would have access to our files on OneDrive? Are you kidding me? Who would do such a thing? You might as well give them your credit card and personal details lol

      • Gee, sounds legit…

        </sarcasm>

I would urge caution on this 'deal'.

Do you have to signup for pCloud to get an email and password? Or is it the OneDrive email and password it wants to know?

I haven't heard of pCloud before. Safe?

Use different email and password, then you will get to link one drive account to pcloud. After linking when you get 50gb, just unlink your account from onedrive.

      • For those wishing to revoke pCloud from accessing their Onedrive account, use this link: https://account.live.com/consent/Manage
Unlinking Onedrive from within the pCloud site does not revoke access.

(edit) after doing this the additional 50gb storage remains on pCloud.

I'm guessing that this doesn't add 50Gb to OneDrive, it's just another storage provider offering a free 50Gb cloud storage.

    • You are right!

    Sounds like a scam…

if your a telstra customer… you can get 200gb for 2 years on OneDrive :)

    http://exchange.telstra.com.au/2016/03/01/5-ways-to-enjoy-20…

    • They don't add 50gb to one drive. It's 50gb of cloud storage.

      • im referring to Telstra's offer… i just signed upto the telstra link above and got 200gb extra on my onedrive

"You now have 200GB of free Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage."

        www.telstra.com/onedrive

    • Have a unutilized telstra sim form a telstra phone offer thanks to ozbargain. Will find it and give it a go. Maybe it will be a good $10 or $2 spent. Different offers.

  • Yeah,it looks like scam. thank I'll skip this.

  • how is it a scam? they just give away free 50gb storage of their cloud service.

  • If I already have OneDrive, why the heck would I need pDrive???

  • So it doesn't add 50GB it's just another provider that can access your files.
MEGA's free account offers 50GB and doesn't require a one drive account

  • Why bother? these kind of services keep popping up. They keep dying off.
