Can't say no to FREE. Thanks :)

      $0.70c worth of points there.

      • +1

Points worth depends on how you spend them :)

  • +3

Thanks. Easiest points I've ever made.

    • +7

come back and tell us how you feel about this when/if the phone calls start!

      • +3

        Do not call register.

      • +2

Phone number is not mandatory. I didn't put my number and it went through.

  • +2

thanks , fine print , we can all expect a phone call too "by submitting this survey, you consent to receiving a telephone call from Qantas Assure regarding health insurance unless you are on the ‘Do Not Call Register’."

  • +3

Did one of these before and never got any points. I swear they add the '6 - 8 week' waiting period hoping we'll forget.

    • That sucks. Hopefully these go through!

  • +1

Great. Needed some activity on my account. Thanks

  • +2

    all that for only 100pts?

    • +3

What do you expect? It took me just less than 30 secs to complete the survey.

    • +2

Seriously guys, this is not worth the time it takes to go to the deal

      • Worth it if you are few points short to buy a gift card. It takes $100 spend on a low fee credit card to get the 100 points.

  • How can I be on Do Not Call Register?

    • +2

      Google it, then register yourself

      • +1

Thanks both, I've never known this before, no more insurance marketing calls

        • +5

If only that were true. This register is basically useless. I've been on it for years and still get smashed.

        • +1

@anglais88: Unfortunately it only helps you against big businesses that use Gov regulated call lists.

    • +3

If you're on the register then I'm afraid we can't contact you to let you know!

    • Telemarketers and fax marketers have 30 days from the date you register to check their lists and stop contacting you.

  • +4

A whole $1 worth. Are you sure you can afford it Joyce .. :-( .. !!

    • +2

$1.47 by my calculations - but all depends on what you use to cash them in. Frankly, not worth my time.

      • What are your calculations?
Sorry trying to find out the best points/$$ ratio

        • +1

Uses to be around 13,500 points for $100 gift voucher. Looks like it has gone up to 16,000 for a $100 Myer Gift card. But my calculations were wrong. More like $0.63 cents worth

      • With the ~30 seconds it takes to fill the form in, at $1.47, your earning $176.40 per hour, that's pretty darn good!

Even if it takes you an extra 30 to find your QFF number thats still $88.20 per hour!

        • +9

I don't get out of bed for any less than 100,000 points.

  • +8

just put in phone number as 1313130000 (must be 10 digits).. takes callers to Qantas :)
that should avoid the marketing call.

  • +6

    THE QANTAS POINTS SITE

I have been part of the trial the Qantas Assure app for a while now. Really neat app; links to your fit device (Apple Watch/Fitbit) and you earn points for reaching certain step goals. Points for walking! :)

    • +8

Can you hook it up to the dog?

  • I'm filling in the survey 800 times

  • Hi Guys,

Please read the disclaimer. It states

This offer is limited to the first 50,000 surveys submitted before 16 March 2016. Each Qantas Frequent Flyer member can earn a maximum of 100 Qantas Points for completing this survey.

Hence, there is no way you are earning more than 100 points per member.

      Twas a joke

      • +4

I think he signed up just to tell you!

  • +1

Done. I'm not a telemarketers dream, I rarely answer numbers from randoms I don't know.

  • +1

@OP: No need to give mobile number as it is not a mandatory field. Don't remember if I gave my number while registering for QFF though.

    • I only just registered a few days ago, and I'm pretty sure they didn't ask for it.

  • As at 6:30 pm AEST 101 OzBers have plussed this. Joking guys, surely .. :-( .. !!

  • +1

As a current NIB member I actually would switch if the price was right and benefits carried over for me to earn points. I actually want them to call me.

  • +1

I just did the survey and now I'm logged into someone elses account.. well at least that's whats on the menu. I can see their name and amount of points. Nothing else fortunately.

  • not worth the time. You can get 100 points per person who dines by booking a restaurant through their Qantas restaurants link

    http://restaurants.qantaspoints.com/

    • I think it'll take more time to book a restaurant tbh…
Yes you'll get more points though (as you're probably not gonna be booking for one)

    • Still not free. Interesting to know that it's 100 points per person. What if I book for four and turn up with only one? I still get the points for four?

      • no, only get for one. Similarly, if you book for 4 and only 5 turn up, you only get points for 4.

  • +1

worth taking the shot when one actually falls booking a cheap LA ticket by 20 points

    • Been there. Missed a business class upgrade between Perth and Brisbane by a couple of hundred points. Luckily got upgraded on return trip for less number of points.

  • +1

    Done. Thanks

  • +2

    Received my points today.
