  Having a look, location is actually pretty good in Kuta for eg but to be honest many 2-3 star hotels in Bali can be had for around the same prices through hotels.com/Expedia/zuji etc.

        @manic: You incite fear with stupidity.
        To say your not safe at a night club in Bali is like saying you shouldn't eat chocolate in Martin place Sydney or swim at a WA beach

        If you're trying to say that being at a nightclub was worse than eating seafood on the beach in Jimbaran around the same time, or going to work at the USA World Trade Centre could have been avoided, then mate, your a fool.

        We are no more at risk in a nightclub in Bali as we are in Australia.
        It's always possible anything can happen

  I stayed at a place in in seminyak, cost me $1.75 for a night, TV Aircon, clean bed, clean bathroom.
  Needless to say i was shocked!
  No idea the name of the place, I was pretty drunk when I checked in last minute on the forever lost way back to my $75/night hotel.

      Its wasnt made for tourists so you won't see it on tripadvisor, just ozbargain.
