Saw this on GMG, looks like this is close to cheapest ever with coupon code MAR20.

Site says it is for Mac, but it's a Steamworks game and you'll be able to redeem it for PC and Mac (and Linux!)

Civ 5 is an absolutely awesome game that has received lots of love from the developers and you will almost certainly get your money's worth. I have sunk hundreds of hours into it and will probably continue to do so for years to come.

      Easily worth the extra ~70c for the expansions. I'd say it makes the other deal less of a bargain given how much the expansions go for individually.

        Would you like to explain that a bit further as I am a bit confused now?
        Which deal is cheaper? Where do you get the extra $0.70 from?
        If you think 70 cents in price difference, maybe have a look at the currencies? One is $10 US, the other is $9.23 AUD.

        Sorry, this deal is the more expensive, but you get the two expansions. Get this one!

        @Lysander: This deal is cheaper - it contains two big expansions which individually have been priced > $20, for an extra few bucks.

        Firstly, the Gods and Kings expansion has been as low as $2.17 (until 30 August 2015) and secondly, the expansions are likely to get cheaper very soon given the age of the game and expansions.
        Also, on Indiegala, if you spend $8 or more, you will also get a key for Insurgency

        Seems to be the better deal for me I am afraid.

        No, you are not a doofus. As I said, the two expansions mentioned have been as low as $2.17 before so really it is not cheaper even if the two expansions are bought individually later.
        Plus extra key for Insurgency at IG makes it more value for money.

        There is more content than you could reasonably play in the next months already. By the time you are done with that, the other expansions will be in a $1 bundle.

  Apparently brave new world has gameplay updates.

  So if you are getting this game I'd get everything

  Ive been holding off playing this game, only having Vanilla

  Yup, G&K and BNW add religion, overhauls trade routes, culture victories etc. Massive changes. I couldn't even imagine playing vanilla these days.
