Futu Online has SSD up to 1TB capacity, all should fall under this code as well.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-850-EVO-120GB-250GB-500GB…

Unfortunately, the 2TB ones are sold out.

    • 2tb are in stock now, 1tb also.

    Is futuonline aus stock?

    • +1

Yep, there's people reporting the sending address is the same as Shopping Express.

    • +2

Yes, they are Shopping Express. Bought many items in the past from them. Pretty reliable and OZ stock.

Come on ebayyyy, unsuspennnnddd. I've been waiting on this since missing out on both SanDISK MSY deals last week :)

    • Code is working

      • Legend mate, thank you for the heads up. Just finished my purchases successfully. Samsung Evo 850 250gb showing as "almost sold out"

        • The issue is that while eBay may accept the code, Paypal is rejecting it. Is this still the case?

        • @neil:

          still rejecting for me :(

  • Are these genuine?

    • I'd say so. Futu Online is a reputable seller on eBay (I've bought from them myself a couple of times with no qualms)

    • Are these genuine?

Futu eBay = Shopping Express. They don't sell any fakes.

    • I've purchased a SSD & HDD from Futu (which is Shopping Express) with no problem but it allegedly sold a stolen iPhone last year. If true, its supply chain is not squeaky clean.

      • Probably a refurbished unit, which can come from anywhere

        • No they said it was new

  • The code appears to work now however the landing page + T&C conditions are not active. Use at your own risk.

  • So how long before eBay fix all this? It is a bit of a joke.

    • All fixed now with a new code CTECHIE

  • SanDisk ultra is better than Samsung evo 64gb right?

  • I bought Samsung Evo 250GB. Didnt saw that it was only for Laptop. however I want to use this SSD on my desktop. Is it possible to use this in desktop or it is only for laptop?

    • yeah of course mate, its fine.

    • There are no SSDs made specifically for Desktop.
      Just smaller drives really.
Definitely can use it for a desktop, it's still SATA interface.
Either get some mounting screws or double-sided tape for the SSD to chill in your desktop case/tower somewhere :)

  • Thanks - been on the lookout for a decent priced 500gb 850evo! :)

  • I just bought the 1TB. During selection it said it was in stock for pickup (at Big W, is that a new thing?), but on purchase it says it will be available tomorrow. :/

  • Can the Samsung 250GB 850 EVO Series SSD be used in a desktop as well or is it specifically for laptops?

    • +1

There are no SSDs made specifically for Desktop
They come in the 2.5" form factor, if you need to "mount" it in a harddrive bay, either use tape (SSDs are really light, there's no disks in them, just chips, tape DOES work well), or mounting screws with an adaptor.

      • Thank you!

        • Nws, for your info, standard desktop drive are usually 3.5", they're larger and heavier.
Assuming your desktop isn't too old (under 5 years?), it should be a SATA connection.
You will have two cables going into an internal harddrive, 1 from the PSU (power supply unit), and 1 SATA connection from the motherboard to the harddrive.
Same thing with an SSD, power from PSU, connection via SATA cable to motherboard.

        • @cwongtech: Cheers appreciated the additional info.
