I'm from Melbourne and have been to that place before for a special event. Such a nice venue, not sure of the usual crowd that hangs out there though, but I would go again.

          I'll bring some mustard.

I eat it with just about everything.

Spinach and egg omelette, whisk in a tablespoon of this and a half a teaspoon of minced garlic with whatever you like in your omelettes. Adds a little honey zing.

Salad dressing. Whisk 2 teaspoons of honey mustard with about a teaspoon of water, teaspoon of lemon juice and a bit of minced garlic. I double up and add a bit of seeded mustard too sometimes. Toss your greens through it. This serves one, but obviously use more depending on what you're doing.

Egg salad. Same method as above, but toss a chopped up boiled egg through it and have it on crackers.

Spread into chicken wraps and sammiches.

        • Sounds so delicious.Thank you.

Mustard is the cure to many things Op:)

  • What does this taste like? My all-time fave honey mustard is Honeycup - nice sharpness to balance out the sweetness. I tried the Aldi American Honey Mustard, and it was very bland.

This is a medium mustard, defintely not too hot. You don't lose the mustard flavour in the honey, unlike the squeezy kiddy-spec Masterfoods ones. For $2, it's worth a shot. I can consume a jar within 10 days…alone.

Aldi had a limited Colway brand that was nice too. They had herb, honey, seeded…

Forgot to mention on the label: "Serve preferably with a wooden or plastic spoon". I've noticed that it does stick to your stainless steel but it doesn't really bother me.

  • real mustard is english super hot mustard!

  • Now, Coleman's English is impossible to beat but this is a nice, occasional alternative. A bit sweet but great with cold meats, especially ham.

    Keen as ….

  • Maille dijon is as good as mass produced dijon gets.

  • Foodland/IGA sell the versions that come with the small free jar, normally 3 dollars on special

    Thanks! Plenty at Hornsby NSW

  • Never had this before and just gave it a try. Nice flavour, but wow, it is loaded with sugar (first item in the ingredient list!).

  • Anyone know anything about good Horseradish Cream, other than Masterfoods?

I love it in a Smoked Haddock sandwich.
