    Seller says There are only 2 authorized importers in Australia.
    Authorized importers from one particular Alibaba seller? Or authorized to import this style of trike?
    Because there are many many sellers of these style around 200cc trikes on alibaba

      I actually did my homework on all factories that make them and settled on the best one.
      They may have multiple listings on there. They're trying to attract importers in other markets.

      Australia Has only 2 companies that import these. The one that says 208cc is correct.. the rest are shameful knock offs and one is using a photo of an american made trike. These are far from the $400 cheapies on that site.. the wheels alone cost nearly that.

      • "The rest are shameful knock offs"
        Of course they are I doubt you purchased the least expensive one to make more profit? No you purchased the most expensive one to sell in Australia and only put a very small markup in price…..

          Regrettably, yes. I liked the look and quality of them. People getting rich off these include customs, the factory, the freight companies i send them with. GST, product insurance.. Currency conversion.. facebook for ads. Profit is not worth the crap i get from people

          @rob327c:

          You do realise you personally would be criminally liable if/when one of your bogan customers seriously hurts themselves or someone else?

          Infact these ozbargain posts would be used to great effect against you, as you are obviously well aware of the likelyhood and consequences of these things being used illegally.

          Your defence of 'cmon, im just havin a go… Tryin to make a buck' won't help you in court.

          You have also spent lots of time reassuring everyone that you personally have made it safe by supposedly vetting each customer you deliver to (how many people have you refused their 2500?) and making sure the videos were in what you deemed safe conditions.

          Guess what sunshine- we have road laws to decide what is and isn't safe for the 25 million people in this country, so it's not left to backyard clowns trying to profit deciding what is/isn't safe.

          @damoo: Well said

        • @damoo:

          I'm a back yard clown?

          I have product insurance that covers me in such events… I agree about the road laws.. I don't suggest anyone ride these things into traffic, they dont stop in an emergency as they are designed to slide…

          I don't refuse people's money, i tell them they're not road legal, and it's clearly written on the product. and they decide if they buy one or not.. people can purchase cars without a licence.

          @rob327c: Quote "I agree about the road laws"… yet you show video of them being illegally used on public roads. So you say one thing but show another.

          Quote "they don't stop in an emergency as they are designed to slide"
          Well that's handy knowing where a lot of them will inevitably be used. (Public roads) as per your video and photos.

        • @ONSALE: do car manufacturers get the blame when people irresponsibly use their products?

  • the disclaimer:
    "This product should not be used on public roads and should not be used by minors without constant adult supervision. Troublesome Trike's Motorized Drift Trikes are not road legal. Do not use them on the open road or footpath as harm may occur to the rider or bystanders.

    'Troublesome Trike's Motorized Drift Trike' …being utilised on a public road in 'Troublesome Trike's' own promotional material
    from http://www.troublesometrikes.com/

    seems like youre quite happy to use public roads for your own promo material…….how does that work exactly mate?
    is there some exemption whereby you can use these on the roads cause thats the perception im getting from your ad/promo material….

  • "FAT DRIFTER" Is the name of the trike however it comes under my trademark DTG

    a search on ip australia shows that the "fat drifter" tm is pending and is neither registered nor protected.
