  • from my experience, the Quality is very bad, you won't be happy .BIGW photo is much better for your nice memories. Thanks anyway

    • +5

lol when its free how can u not be happy?
I guess you can ask for your money back

      • +1

People are entitled to be unhappy with something even if its free. Having no cost doesn't mean it becomes exempt from criticism.

Besides, its free to entice you to buy more in the future so the lack of a price is no excuse.

I totally disagree…Harvey norman in my experience beats BigW hands down…….but i guess it is just your personal opinion in the end…

    • The quality of mine from Harvey Nroman last time was EXCELLENT (esp considering they were all free too lol).

Also the service was much better than Big W's - HN's gave me a call to say mine were in. In Big W's case I didn't hear from them for AGES, then when I dropped by the store to ask where they were (online status said they had been shipped) I was told they weren't in and they couldn't do anything to find out where they were exactly. Was also told I'd get a phonecall to say when they were ready. I went back two weeks later (no phonecall had come, mind you_ being really annoyed as my photos were taking AGES to arrive…only to discover they'd been lieing in the store for a month. NOT HAPPY at all. And the store's response? A snooty teenager with a sarcastic "sorry". NEVER AGAIN…Harvey Normal all the way from now on!

LOL Big W and Harvey Norman use the exact same software and the exact same wholesaler for these prints??!! They are the same. FAIL!

    • I paid to print out some photos at BIGW.
They bend all of my photos such a terrible.
It seems they don't care about it.

  • wow, they do this again!
Is this limited to new customer only?
And when does the code expire?
Could use this promotion for easter show tour.

  • Nice, I did this last time and it was great quality.

  • yeah i think the quality is fine. no problems for me.

  • i think the qualitys great considering were getting it for free.

  • Used the 50 free last time round, did not come close to my local photo shop which is 15c / print

    HOWEVER:
made great give away photos, and also did birthday invites using thier freebies :).

  • Nice… I had 350 free photos last time they had this offer.

    • How so? Different accounts?

      • Yea. Picked them up from the local harvey norman also.

  • does any1 know when the code will expire?

  • can anyone help………….when and where do I put the code? I have been trying but its not working !!

  • Normally put it in when you are at checkout, and it has the price and everything, you can put in a code.

  • does this code work with existing accounts and when does it expire?

  • Can someone confirm that this one is not for APRIL FOOL!?

    • Its not an april fool, I just used it successfully.

You enter it before you get to paypal.

There's a dropdown box, you select 'use coupon' then type the coupon into the box that appears.

      hope that helps

i tried to put in the code at the paypal, just before paying but it would njot accept….and there's no other option/place at harvey norman's web site to put the code !!
I am wondering if its an April fool !!!!

    • I'm uploading my pics now, I'll tell you how I go in a few minutes time

      • +1

Sorry forgot to come back. Yeah it worked fine, ordered for free. Done!

  • I've used the code today and it works. Expires end of this year. At the checkout there is a drop down menu for coupons. Once you've selected it then it opens a box for you enter the code.
    Pretty simple

  • when will this offer expires ?

(and Wazza, I don't believe that it will last until the end of the year).

  • How do they make money with all these free prints promos???

  • -1

Well why dont you place an order to prove me wrong? For everyone else, I would try and do this as soon as you can as I dont think they will let this offer go forever. It says "Expiry: 2010-12-31 23:59:5" once you enter the code.

    • +1

      That's odd, mine said "Expiry: 2010-06-30 23:59:5"

Either way who cares, it was free today :)

  • thanks guys, it did work……and yes it does says expiry till end of this year !!

  • That's awesome.. Free photos for the rest of the year!

lol, kak means sh!t in Afrikaans… good deal anyway.

  • Is this only for pickup or can you do a P&P cost to get sent to you as clive peeters easy photo's did yesterday?

Plus can you only use it once per address or once per account just if you sign up for multiple accounts.

  • Thanks a lot.

    I got expiry date of: 2010-06-30 23:59:59

    confirmed working

  • Thanks! Last time I got a calenda from HN~~~Very good!

  • Brilliant! Tried searching for a code to use and couldn't find one (got lured in by the commonwealth bank promo)

    50 prints here I come! Thanks Always270!

P.S. MODS. THIS CODE JUST WORKED (10:45am Tuesday 6th April)

Nice deal, i have got my 50 free prints after reading this post, thank you for sharing. I have received my prints after a week, only paid $2.95 postage for 50 prints… but a number of prints aren't so clear, the images are blurry and looked like oil paintings… but no complaint, since they are free, but i have no confidence paying for prints in Harvey Norman now.

Had a better experience with this free offer than the previous one by Commonwealth Bank:
    - uploaded 13 photos on April 5 (I only wanted 13, not 50)
    - they were shipped on April 13
    - Harvey Norman called me up this afternoon (April 15) to tell me I could now pick them up. This didn't happen with the Commonwealth Bank offer.
Kudos for posting this offer, always270! =D
