    FUUUUU who bought my Medium!!!!!!

    • Was tossing up between medium or small and that made it an easy choice

      • All I did was spend about 10 minutes trying to find fitment on the North Face site :( sizing chart was broken….. after all that.. M sold out.

        • hey, i also bought the COTD blue one on sale yesterday and now this one and theres a good chance I'll be returning this one as it doesn't have pit zips.
I actually might just email SS to cancel then you can buy it, i will mention that someone else was after it if that helps

  • COTD has a red one for $99 which comes to $80 during the recent 20% off sales.

For a review: http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Rain-Jacket-Reviews/ratings, click on it, the 1 with the 2nd lowest rating.

I have this jacket. Firstly it is rated so low because it doesn't have the features that make it a good outer layer for physical activities in winter-snow. However for casual use in a town or city or in Australian winter conditions it is pretty good. It has a fleece lining around the collar which is very comfortable in Australian city winters, especially if you aren't wearing proper thermals as there is little need in Sydney where you are probably within minutes of a air conditioned/heated building. It is 70D nylon ripstop so it is probably slightly more durable than the other rain jackets compared in the above link. It is also reasonably cheap compared to others. All these features make it a good jacket for thrashy use in urban areas during winter. However it is because of these features that make it a crap technical jacket for physical activities outdoor. The rain jacket is only supposed to be a waterproof/windproof outer layer and is not supposed to be the layer that keeps you warm in the cold. As such the fleece collar adds needless weight if you have proper thermals underneath. Further, it being 70D nylon adds extra weight compared to other jackets.

    • cheers for the input.
yea im glad I actually got the Venture model as well so can choose which one I will return.
