"Flights are direct with a short stop in Auckland (no stop at LA)".

So itr is not really a direct flight then. Maybe reword the listing to something like "direct from auckland to houston"

I actually took a while over this - but what I wanted to get at was that flights are not routed through Sydney (eg Melb->Sydney->AKL->Houston, Bris->Sydney->AKL->Houston) as well as not stopping over in LA.

In the end I just left it. Happy to change it to something better, though.

Flights have a single stop in Auckland (no domestic transfers in Australia or the US are required)???

        • Thanks - OP updated.

    • There's a difference between "direct" (same flight number) and "non-stop" (no stopping over)…

  • South by Southwest Festival is currently on in Austin, Texas. If only this deal came out a week earlier!

  • I love that airfare map of the world! Really good job IWTF. (And I had a giggle about Moscow being located on the map just off the coast of Nigeria.) :)

That seems to be the default point for places that have an incorrect/missing Lat & Long. Got to fix it!

Can you stop in Auckland for a two weeks or so and then continue to Houston ?

  • Hi Rep, Anything for new york or Michigan for june 2016

    • Nothing this cheap. If anything comes up I'll post it here.

Good deal for those wanting to visit the NASA Johnson Space Center..

  • Just a quick question - it seems like the prices I am getting are for a stay of around 14 days.
Is that deliberate or accidental? Is there something in the way airlines work or booking are made that lines up cheap flights about two weeks apart?

    • I manually find the sample dates in the OP and for these I try to have at least a 14 day stay. These are just examples though, and there are probably other dates available.

For yourself, you can enter in dates that you would like & see if the prices are still the same. Eg, 24/Apr ret 26/Jun is $887
