VEry nice price. I'm more interested in NVME drives these days.

    • Yes. Very tempting for this type of drive.

      Funny how tech changes perspectives.

I too like NVME (yet to jump on board), I can see regular SATA SSD's taking the role of mechanical HDDs in many home PC's. By that I don't mean regular SSD will completely replace the mechanic HDD - They are awesome in NAS boxes (I have 2 NAS's loaded with them) but in your PC, many people like myself who adopted SSD's some generations ago probably have a few spares by now. Mini storage mediums before moving to the giant NAS, that's my approach anyway.

A high end NVME in the boot drive will almost be what SSD was to HDD.

      • I have an NVME in my Dell laptop. It's insanely fast, but boot times and normal computer use isn't all that different. I don't transfer >1 GB files very often.

        • Closest thing I've got to NVMe is my 6s iphone, the damn thing is stupid quick in storage-related operations, it boots in seconds vs a minute on my old sammy

I should have meant the one in the description leads to a third party seller that they can't even deliver to Australia. This one i just supplied leads directly to seller Amazon which is what you'd want. Just trying to help. :)
