I thought good price for this Weber would be 200-250. 400 is not a bargain at all..

    • Do you have a link that shows it at that price?

Although you right, it is different model.

But then again this model was $300

Looks same, probably have different size.

        • both deals seem to be out of date, got anything current? Our dollar might be affecting the current deals; hard to tell.

@try2bhelpful: found specs, they are basically same, just new model came with double price.

I am not saying there is currently better price, I am saying this price not a bargain. But if somebody need it urgently, it could be a good deal.

@Den: past pricing is not an indication of future pricing; or I would be able to buy houses for $50,000 in Richmond like we could in the early 1980s. (Man, I wish I had gone into severe hock and bought a stack of them). This may well be the cheapest price you can pay for a Weber for the next 10 years; unless you have an alternative - right now it is a bargain.

    • Agreed. The price should be around $250 but then again, everything is ridiculously expensive here.

        Here on this site?
        Here in this country?

  • Do Myer price match? Got a bag of credit card points would be good to use for this at Myer if possible.

I bought one, mentioned on the earlier thread, Webber Q2000 on sale for $350 (excellent price). With 10% off ($322), and paying via Gift Cards brings that down to around $306.

See this thread for the 10% off https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/238975

They still have the free gas exchange, worth another $22.

The Webber Q1000 and Q2000 are both excellent BBQ's and worth the premium their support and service is excellent and the food tastes great.

Only regret, I didn't buy one earlier.

    • Where can you get a gift card ?

        https://www.cashrewards.com.au

Signup and select Woolworths wish gift cards
Chose egift cards as they email them out , and no extra charge sometimes within an hour most times the same day.
I make sure I always have some handy, you can get them for any amount and don't have to use the same card.

Have been also able to use these at self serve checkouts to buy other gift cards sold at woollies , eg Sony, Apple, event cinemas

        • how long do it take for Wollies to send the e-gift card.
Purchased 25 min back but got nothing yet
