Hello. Does anyone know of places to pick up really cheap board games in sydney or online. My wife once brought home a sealed game of risk for 5 dollars (possibly counterfeit). Which gave hours of fun even if the pieces were a bit crude. Hobby shops don't really talk about this but i'm guessing there out there.

Taobao (Chinese version of eBay), the games are fake and some have cards with Chinese descriptions which might make it difficult if you don't read Chinese, but for graphics intensive games like splendor or ticket to ride, it's perfectly playable.
Ozsale recently had a board game sale which were pretty cheap. A genuine Risk game was about $20.
