So I've been lurking around for a while trying to find an Apple Watch, specifically 42mm Black.
I was tempted to purchase the last 20% Kogan eBay deal but waited, today I went on and boom $369.59.

Cheapest (even for a grey market) 42mm space grey apple watch I have ever seen, glad I waited and didn't resort to some Gumtree deal :(
Apple did announce new nylon bands which can be chosen instead of the sport bands (for the same retail price), but at this price I could buy them all individually :P

38m black/white is also available @ $329.60 (without cashback) if anyone is interested!

Apparently it takes up to 10 business days to leave their warehouse, and then 3-5 business days after that to be delivered. A bit longer than I'd like but I'm not in a rush.

      Yeh received the tracking yesterday. Tracking looks funny tho… Looks slightly backwards lol. Refreshed it this morning and Melbourne scans came up, but it was in between the transit in Hk.     Yes the eBay status updated. I receive an email from eBay (about the status update) and also directly from Kogan. The tracking number was also updated on the eBay listing.

  I've tried a few different types, and here's what I found:
  1. Tempered glass is a waste of time, it only covers the screen part of the glass, and not the rounded edges.
  2. Most cheap plastic film protectors are the same, they don't cover the entire glass.
  3. This 'Ruby' film protector is pretty good. It covers 95% of the screen. But I found it had to be applied perfectly to have all the sides 'sit down' properly, and over time, the screen protector would catch on my sleeves and start lifting on it's own. http://www.iosx.com.au/products/ruby-shield-edge-to-edge-mil…
  4. The best protector, by far (that I've tried), is by Skinomi: http://amzn.com/B00NG09HHS
  This protector is a film that you apply with a wet solution, and it covers the whole screen and doesn't come off easily. When you first apply it there will be bubbles and other imperfections visible, but after 24-48 hours, it will have dried crystal clear and you'll forgot it's on. The biggest downside is that it costs quite a bit to get here to Austalia.

      Nah I've never used a cover. I think any case will scratch the Apple watch casing over time (just like a phone case, grime/dirt/sand/etc always seems to get caught between the case and the phone and scratches it up over time). The main thing I'm concerned about is scratching the screen.

      Good luck, mine arrives tomorrow but I won't be back in Sydney till Thursday night haha. But I already got tempered glass (temporary solution) ordered and arriving before I get back.
      
      I feel like the watch would end up being scratched by gym equipment if you're not careful :( guess I'll have to do more slow and precise workouts without dropping or bumping into anything.
